We are hiring for room attendants, house persons and supervisors to join our team and provide excellent customer service to our hotel guests. This is a fast-paced job and requires a lot of energy and attention to detail.

Room Attendant Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Changing bed linen and making beds
Replacing used towels
Ensuring rooms/bathrooms are clean in accordance with company standards
Sweep and mop floors
Vacuum carpets
Dust furniture
Replenish bath amenities
Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar
Clean public areas, like corridors and lobby areas
Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
Address guests' needs as they arise
Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and perfectly set by the end of each shift
Follow hotel security guidelines
House Person Responsibilities:
Cleaning and maintaining all hotel public areas, storage rooms, and offices.
Cleaning guest rooms upon request.
Running supplies and service items to guest rooms as requested.
Cleaning and maintaining all public areas, hallways, and food & beverage spaces.
Distributing linens and supplies to appropriate locations.
Vacuuming floors and discarding garbage. Cleaning hallway restrooms and staff restrooms.
Completing projects as determined by the head of housekeeping for the property.

Role Summary:
The Room Attendant will clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. This role will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints, while ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. The ideal candidate will exemplify the values and beliefs of EAU Resort & Spa.
This role is an A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position available.
Essential Qualifications:
Prior experience in cleaning hotel guest rooms.
Prior guest relations training.
Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Fluency in English. Secondary language (preferably Spanish or Creole).
High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
Essential Functions
(not limited to):
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision.
Ability to exert physical effort in being able to clean 14 rooms per shift.
Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
Clean guest rooms by category priority.
Handle guest complaints by following the EAU Resort & Spa guidelines and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Report any damages or maintenance problems to the Supervisor.
Successful completion of the training/certification process.
