Overview: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment throughout the dealership's facilities, including common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and other designated spaces. This role is essential to promoting a positive customer and employee experience by ensuring cleanliness and safety at all times.Key Responsibilities:Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
Perform general cleaning duties throughout assigned buildings and dealership property.
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and breakroom areas daily.
Maintain cleanliness of offices, cubicles, conference rooms, and reception areas by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
Clean glass surfaces, windows, and blinds.
Empty trash containers and ensure proper waste disposal.
Supply Management
Replenish paper goods, toiletries, and other janitorial supplies in restrooms and common areas.
Stock and maintain cleaning supply closets and carts.
Notify management when supplies are low or equipment requires maintenance.
Safety & Reporting
Maintain safe work practices when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any unsafe conditions, damages, or maintenance issues to management promptly.
Follow cleaning protocols and schedules to meet health and safety standards.
Other Duties
Assist with occasional exterior cleaning or seasonal tasks as needed.
Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic janitorial or maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions when necessary.
Ability to climb stairs or ladders safely.
Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Perform all duties in a courteous manner and maintain excellence in customer service including but not limited to cheerfully greeting residents and visitors and exercising respect with co-workers.
Clean and service rooms, baths, and offices; dust furniture and equipment; clean windows, window sills, light globes; empty trash baskets and remove trash; clean and polish bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar items; replenish supplies of soap and towels; clean and polish brass, glass panels, doors, partitions, and paneling; check and fill all dispensers - hand soap, paper.
Clean, mop, and treat floors; strip, wax, and buff floors as needed. Vacuum all carpet; shampoo carpet as directed.
Mix/dilute housekeeping chemicals and products according to instructions.
Move furniture as needed in accordance with safety policies and procedures.
Make minor repairs and adjustments; replace light bulbs; repair clogged sinks, commodes, or drains.
Assist dietary unit as needed with set ups, clean up, policing spills during meals, etc.
Keep utility storage rooms in good order by cleaning lockers and equipment, arranging supplies, and sweeping and mopping floor. Organize and maintain linen closets in a safe and orderly condition at all times.
Report issues of department equipment when it is not in good working condition in accordance with manufacturer's operational standards.
Detect and correct, or report, hazardous conditions that have a possibility of causing accidents or injuries to residents, employees, or visitors.
Observe and report resident symptoms, reactions, and changes and report to the director or other appropriate personnel as necessary.
Maintain compliance with all Buckner policies, procedures and requirements. Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
Work successfully as part of a team and responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and training as required.
Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
Sort all dirty laundry by kind in accordance with established procedures. Help fold and dry clean linen as directed. Pick up laundry from various floors/locations.

A High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) so as to have the knowledge to follow basic instructions.
Age 21 with a valid driver's license and clean driving record so you can be insured on the Buckner insurance.

Job Responsibilities
Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff: performance evaluations, training and development. Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
Assist Executive Housekeeper in development of the department's annual budget. Monitor performance against plan.
Enforce policies and procedures.
Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives. Monitors and maintains level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms and public areas.
Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
Enforce standard procedures for the acceptance, security, and return on guest lost and found items.
Maintain productivity and labor cost goals.
