Housekeeper Reports To: Executive Housekeeper Department: Housekeeping and Laundry Employment Dates: TBD - Seasonal Temporary Mid-May through Mid-October Rate: $21-26 per hour Under the direction of the Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is a non- exempt seasonal temporary position responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping maintenance of Club properties. Ensures the highest level of service as meets expectations of Club members. Performs all work in accordance with essential functions and responsibilities as described below and in the spirit of the Club's mission and vision. Changes bed linens. Washes windows and cares for window treatments. Cleans microwave ovens, stoves, coffee pots, and refrigerators. Polishes metalwork. Cleans, disinfects, and stocks restrooms and humidors. Stocks cottages with designated amenities and supplies. Requisitions supplies and notifies supervisor of expected shortages in a timely manner. Reports repair and maintenance needs to supervisor. Initiates work orders as designated. Cleans lighting fixtures and replaces light bulbs. Closes windows, turns off lights and locks doors to secure buildings. Launders, presses, and folds Clubhouse and Cottages linens and uniforms. Maintains and keeps equipment and materials in proper condition. Picks up paper and sweeps and washes areas around building and facilities. Observes safe working practices. Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards. Follows label instructions to mix and dilute cleaners, disinfectant and stripping agents to ensure proper strength for use. May assist other maintenance personnel in maintaining buildings and fixtures. Operates vehicles to and from work areas and hauls debris for disposal, cleaning materials, chemicals and parts. Moves furniture as necessary. Performs pest and rodent control and removal in and around buildings, plants, facilities and adjacent grounds. Observes all Club safety practices and protocols. Performs other duties as designated by the Executive Housekeeper.
