The Houston Community College System (HCCS) comprises a half-dozen colleges and more than 15 total campuses in the greater Houston area: * Central College * Coleman College of Health Sciences * Northeast College * Northwest College * Southeast College * Southwest College Among these six colleges, HCCS offers a wide array of academics. More than 100 areas of study are available, including courses in unique fields like Travel & Tourism, Commercial Music and Digital Gaming & Simulation. Additionally, HCCS provides continuing education in business, truck driving, computers, construction trades and more. These courses usually lead to professional licensure, but courses are also available in ESL, test prep or simply personal enrichment. State and federal financial aid programs are available at all HCCS schools, as well as another of institutional and external scholarships. To apply for scholarships through the HCC Foundation, submit the online application (complete with essay and transcript) by May 4. As a community college, HCCS makes its courses available to all local residents. However, extra admissions requirements may apply for degree-seeking students, depending on the program.

I did not like that the adminstration did not push for students success in the business realm, loans, credit, pay.... just basic instructors with no business expertise.
