POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer and serving as a member of the organization's Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Chief Communications Officer provides vision and executes an agile, integrated, and sustainable communications strategy that advances HBH's mission and strengthens its reputation and brand. This mission critical role develops and drives the strategic prioritization and plan execution of a comprehensive network of functions and their sub-disciplines including: Policy & Advocacy, Development, Branding & Marketing, and Internal and External Communications (including media and public relations). The individual will leverage industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of Howard Brown Health as well as supports culture enhancement and management efforts.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Leadership
- Provides strategic vision, direction, and measurable goals for all aspects of the communications and development network as well as aligns all policy & advocacy, communications and development activities to the strategic plan of the HBH organization.
- In partnership with HBH's data team, serves as the primary strategic leader for all communication data needs, ensuring data is used to drive targeted, data-driven interventions, track outcomes, define analytical requirements and monitor multi-level performance.
- Ensures responsible financial management within purview, including agency budget development and resource planning; manages network budgets, including budget development, monitoring, and re-forecasting (where applicable).
- Partners with relevant internal stakeholders to integrate communications and development functioning into strategic planning processes and key organizational decisions.
- Identifies and advocates for the resources and infrastructure needed to meet established goals and drive success.
- Drafts, maintains, and publishes communication policies and standard operating procedures.
Operating Excellence
Policy & Advocacy
• Provides executive leadership support to the Director, Policy & Advocacy focused on developing and implementing timely, relevant and measurable strategies to influence public policy, laws, and public opinion on behalf of HBH.
• Supports the Director, Policy & Advocacy in serving as legislative liaison and advocating and monitoring laws and regulations impacting HBH and the services it provides.
• In partnership with the Director, Policy & Advocacy ensures appropriate data is being leveraged toward data-informed decisioning.
• In partnership with the Director, Policy & Advocacy monitors the political environment and guides the identification of opportunities to advance state and local policies benefiting HBH, HBH patients, the state, and local communities.
• Guides and directs all efforts focused on organizational liaising to legislators, legislative committees, and legislative staff involved with HBH related legislation toward timely provision of information regarding the organization's programs, operations and objectives and explains proposed and/or revised legislative issues.
• In partnership with the Director, Policy & Advocacy, ensures responsible financial management and resource planning.
Development
• Provides executive leadership support to the VP, Donor Relations & Engagement focused on all aspects of private fundraising, including ongoing and future capital campaigns, while strengthening agency positioning to support infrastructure and programming priorities.
• In partnership with the VP, Donor Relations & Engagement ensures appropriate data is being leveraged toward data-informed decisioning.
• In partnership with the VP, Donor Relations & Engagement ensures timely and effective development and execution of established annual comprehensive fundraising strategy with clear accountability for outcomes, including setting annual targets, monitoring short and long-term performance metrics, managing donor pipelines, and aligning fundraising goals with the organization's mission and strategic plan.
• In partnership with the VP, Donor Relations & Engagement, ensures responsible development financial management and resource planning.
Branding & Marketing
• Provides vision, leads and drives all aspects of brand integrity, strategic marketing analysis, consumer intelligence and high performing marketing operations.
• Serves central role in shaping HBH's brand position, brand identity, brand experience, and brand voice across audiences, while ensuring consistency and cohesion across channels and touchpoints.
• Utilizes and implements consumer intelligence and analytics to deï ne marketing strategies and messages for patient acquisition.
• Collaborates with clinics and operations to develop patient journey maps - identifying key brand touch points and decisions.
Internal and External Communications
• Leads strategic cascading communications for internal rollouts of critical news and oversees fidelity when the organization must respond to external headwinds and crises.
• Identifies, establishes and executes a sustainable approach to effectively exchanging information and messages within the HBH organization with a goal of timely, factual, transparent and beneficial information share.
• Consistently evaluates internal communication strategies and approaches toward continuous improvement and meeting of established communication goals.
• In collaboration with the President & CEO, serve as the primary external representative for HBH, strategically engaging with key stakeholders, community partners, and media.
• Serves as strategic counsel to executives for crisis/issue management and other public exposures while overseeing the development and consistent implementation of messaging, policies and practices across the organization.
Human Capital Oversight
- Leads a team of communication professionals, providing guidance and support in the creation of high-quality content.
- Ensures consistent performance standards, skill-building, and a shared understanding of communications and development strategy.
- Supervises, motivates, and supports direct reports by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, and communicating how contributions connect to departmental and organizational goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in communications, psychology, business administration, or related discipline required. Graduate degree in the same preferred.
- Minimum ten (10) years professional experience leading a full-scope corporate communications function required. Of the ten (10) years' experience, at least five (5) years' experience human capital oversight and leading a multi-discipline team required. - Experience in healthcare, FQHC and/or non-profit preferred.

The role of the Physician in a community setting is a response to society's demand for accessible quality health care to all populations regardless of socio-economic status. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a health‑related field or business required

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Handle an average of 70 calls per day (approximately 350 calls per week), depending on call volume.

Schedule appointments in accordance with site-based guidelines for all patients.
Update patient demographic and insurance information at the time of scheduling.
Verify Individual Health Coverage (IHC) eligibility - ensure that all patients with a medical card are enrolled in the IHC program with Erie Family Health Centers (EFHC) through the MEDI system.
Identify and assist patients who are eligible for State Health programs (e.g., ALL KIDS, IHC, etc.).
Page nurses and providers as needed, ensuring urgent messages are relayed through the airmail intranet.
Properly route and handle all telephone calls - administrative, clinical, and informational - in compliance with departmental guidelines.
Manage voicemails by diverting calls, recordings, and distributing accurate messages; monitor voicemail functionality as needed.
Send messages accurately to the designated department based on the patient's request.
Correct scheduling errors within a reasonable timeframe.
Support new hires by assisting with call shadowing.
Patient Satisfaction: Provide excellent customer service and assist all patients in a professional and courteous manner.

Consultation with PCPs to enhance understanding of the patient, provide decision support for treatment planning and assist in the implementation and monitoring of biopsychosocial treatment plans.
Coordination of Care - Provide consultation to and coordinate care of patients with health center primary care staff. Completes Psychiatric Intake Evaluation and appropriate screenings prior referring patients to psychiatric providers. Identify, refer, and advocate for patients needing specialty behavioral health service, and other services as needed.
Crisis Intervention - Be immediately available to the health center staff during working hours in the event of a psychiatric emergency. Participate as a member of the health center staff in the event of any other kind of emergency.
Administrative: 20% of time, approx.
Supervision - Participate in individual supervision with immediate supervisor and/or attend clinical group supervision monthly. Supervise 1st and 2nd year interns, based on need and availability.
Charting - Completes all EMR charting within 48 hrs. as needed and required by contacted funding sources: including assessments, progress notes, and billing.

Education
Master's degree in a Behavioral Health discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, etc.) with a valid Illinois State Licensure as appropriate to discipline.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Confirm scheduled donation pick-up times, addresses and items by telephone at the donation office in morning upon arriving at store.
Operate resale shop box trucks on designated route(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
AMA Policy Development, Research, and Support

REQUIREMENTS:

What you can expect:
A Medical Assistant supports the delivery of care to patients and guides patients throughout the flow of clinical care appointments, under the direction of the Practice Manager and the care team Provider. We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst on our Finance team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
As a Sr. Financial Systems Analyst, you will provide administrative and functional maintenance and support for AMA's financial applications, including Infor/Lawson, Oracle EPM (Hyperion), Blackline, Ironclad, Concur, and other Finance-led systems. Focus on business process management, system utilization, and ensuring data integrity across Finance. Liaise with internal customers, functional areas and IT resources as well as external vendors including hosting and SaaS providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Systems Management
* Provide functional support for month-end closing activities, monitor interfaces, troubleshoot user issues, meta-data maintenance, and financial systems operation.
* Perform requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and coordination of system enhancements or configuration changes based on Finance business needs.
* Conduct testing and user acceptance for system changes.
* Identify system issues by understanding Finance business processes and develop solutions to resolve the issues.
* Collaborate with internal customers, functional areas, and IT resources to evaluate opportunities for system optimization.
* Participate in troubleshooting sessions for system issues, proposing business-side solutions and providing subject matter expertise.
* Maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of data on all AMA financial systems.
Documentation, Process, and Project Management
* Document and analyze business processes, system configuration, and user procedures.
* Support transition planning, system upgrades, and releases in conjunction with IT and vendors, providing business-side expertise and functional testing.
* Provide input on changes requests and assist in evaluating system impacts.
* Prepare training materials and support end users.
* Work on cross-departmental initiatives to streamline processes/workflows to improve efficiency of monthly financial closes.
Technical Collaboration
* Perform limited hands-on scripting, including simple SQL queries,
* Collaborate with IT teams for complex technical tasks, integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
* Work with system vendors and IT to support system upgrades, enhancements, and drive issue resolution.
* Document data flows between Finance systems and assist in defining requirements for integrations.
May include other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field required.
* 5+ years of experience working on finance business processes and a suite of financial applications including Infor/Lawson or similar ERP systems required.
* In depth expertise with multiple financial system cycles including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and bank settlement processes.
* Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements, assist with solution configuration / design, and coordinate user acceptance testing.
* Strong collaboration skills with IT and vendors.
* Working knowledge of both relational and multi-dimensional data modeling concepts and processes using Microsoft SQL.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex financial definitions and information and grasp technology concepts.
* Demonstrated experience supporting, configuring, and administering financial systems, ideally Oracle Lawson, Hyperion, Concur, or similar ERP platforms, including coordinating enhancements with IT and vendors.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills to translate business needs into clear requirements for IT partners.

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $87,394-$115,797. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Compensation is based on each candidate's experience, skills and education within the range identified for the role. Main Duties & Responsibilities
Works in collaboration with WIC Coordinator and WIC Lead Nutritionists in planning and implementing the Nutrition components of the WIC program to ensure quality Nutrition services.
Collaborates in the development and enforcement of nutrition procedures and policies.
Screens applicants for eligibility, which requires verifying income for the household, residency, identification, health history, and anthropometric measurements.
Provides initial nutrition screening and assessment for WIC client and develops nutrition care plans with client centered goals (using VENA strategies), and monitors client's progress towards those goals.
Conducts nutritional screenings, assessments, and counsels' high-risk clients on nutrition and dietary practices appropriate to health and medical conditions identified.
Develops and/or approves nutrition education materials.
Schedules follow-up visits with clients to monitor and encourage compliance with prescribed nutritional care plans
May be required to conduct WIC activities at satellite locations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
B.S. in Nutrition required; Registered Dietitian (RD) and/or Licensed Dietitian (LD) eligibility preferred.
Experience
A minimum of two years' experience in community nutrition working with Maternal Child Health is recommended, and WIC experience preferred.
Illinois driver's license and automobile insurance required.
Local travel (when necessary).
Skills and Knowledge
