Roofing Stocker Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Material Handling: loading, unloading and transporting roofing materials (shingles, tiles etc.) to the designated areas on the roof.
Assisting Shingle Truck Driver: providing directions, spotting for the driver and potentially operating equipment like conveyors to move materials onto the roof.
Material Placement: accurately placing materials on the roof as directed, potentially using cleats or other anchoring systems.
Safety Compliance: following all safety guidelines and regulations related to material handling, ladder and scaffold use, and working at heights.
Communication: communicating with the shingle truck driver, roofers, and other team members regarding material needs and delivery locations.
Additional Tasks: performing other additional tasks as needed, such as assisting with minor repairs or maintenance.
Perform other assigned tasks as requested by leadership team when needed
Pay:
$20.00 per hour; overtime available based on business needs
