Do you work at HP?
Is HP's location favorable and convenient for employees?
Projects provided enough of a challenge to maintain interest in work. Job enviorment was based on remote activity which came in handy for work life balance. Location was very accessiblefor folks workong in the Houston Metro area.
The support for non-employees was not as balanced per regular employees. In the case of pandemic policiesseemed to be one sided. As for compensation the use of third party suppliers based in non regional office lin=mited growth, paid time off and limitd the advancement with in orgnization. All though younger experience contractors did come on full time HP employees.
The work schedule for those in an hourly position did have overtime oppurtunities. The diversity of workforce and thehiring of veterean status people. based on business needs a two week furlow at the end of the year made it possible for Holiday vacation or time off planning.
In my understanding the industry average is higher and HP keeps focus on bottom line business needs first.
Working with compatent, friendly and positive enviornment.
Modern industry, openness from all people, global projects
Slow processes
Home office
