Shift: We are looking for individual(s) that have open availability. Successful candidates will be available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift for a rotating and changing schedule on a weekly basis. Job Responsibilities: Proficiently operate all filling, and casing equipment, including labeler, and glue pot. Make sure all daily orders are filled and that the correct cups, lids, and codes are used. Operate machines efficiently and keep changeover downtime to a minimum. Maintain proper weights at all times, as well as operating speeds set by the supervisor or foreman. Ensure that the package and product meet our quality standards at all times and report problems to a supervisor immediately. Supply stock to machines Effectively communicate with other operators in the line Save Lab samples per requirements. Dismantle, clean, and reassemble the equipment if needed. Maintain a sanitary work area at all times. Sanitize and wash hands frequently. Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner. Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements. Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Work overtime, as needed, which will require an obligation from you to fulfill. Adapt to new technology as it comes into the department Carry out all additional duties assigned by a supervisor or foreman. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm's way. Education and Experience: • A BA/BS degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience is preferred. • A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). • Experience in manufacturing setting preferred, food & beverage is a plus.
