This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence stakeholders, and to ensure compliance.
+ Assist with implementing and reviewing playbooks, and procedures. Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency.

+ Track operational and safety risks. Develop and manage strategic risk management strategies to avoid potential incidents.

The minimum salary for the HSE Manager position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Manager position is $120,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the tactical development and execution of EHS programs across multiple sites/states and functional areas, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, EPA, DoD contractual and other applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Partner with engineering, operations, facilities, and security to embed EHS into design, production and sustainment phases of the business.
Manage compliance with environmental permits, hazardous waste programs and industrial hygiene initiatives.
Lead and mentor EHS professionals, developing capabilities and succession strength within the team. Help make this a place EHS staff enjoy coming to work and staying for a career.
Serve as primary liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, and defense contract management agency (DCMA) on all EHS matters.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.

Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DoD and ISO standards; experience with startup environments preferred.

The Role

JOB OVERVIEW
Environmental Design Group is seeking a qualified project manager looking for an opportunity to pursue, plan, and manage projects for our Construction Management Client Service Group. The project manager will manage a team of engineers and technicians conducting construction inspections and documenting construction activities. Projects may include construction administration, construction oversight, dispute resolution, documentation and quality control, pre-construction services, and stakeholder communication. This position will provide both technical and client management project leadership. This role consists of participating in a growing team and will include opportunities to mentor junior staff. The project manager will manage both public and private sector projects. Responsibilities will consist of managing, controlling, and monitoring all aspects of the project, reducing risks to the firm and its clients, and interacting with clients to deliver projects.
Supervise associates directly or indirectly and provide ongoing direction specific to project tasks, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Review, mentor, develop, and manage associates' performance in terms of project goals and company expectations.
Manage all activities for assigned projects, including scheduling work and project budgets, directing associates and sub-consultant activities, establishing and monitoring quality requirements, ensuring client satisfaction, and promoting integration across all areas of work.
Report project budget variances to the Director and a plan to bring the project back into compliance.
Communicate regularly with clients on project status.
Ensure project communication between team members and clients.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Critical Facilities Group (CFG) Project Manager is responsible for the management of a team of Engineers and Technicians to successfully implement Data Center projects in a given geographical area. This role reports to the Critical Facilities Program Manager and will be required to support the Sales staff and customer needs. Monitor and schedule maintenance for safety equipment and jobsite tools as required.
Perform and oversee the investigation of accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions including interfacing with workers' compensation processes.
Qualifications
Proven safety management experience within construction, electronic security, telecommunications or related industries.
Certifications from industry recognized organizations focusing on safety education.
Degree in safety management is desired but not required.
Excellent communication skills.
Is qualified to recognize safety hazards
Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to safety excellence.
Has the authority to take corrective action
Possesses current certifications in first aid, CPR and AED
Strong understanding of construction related hazards and solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Possesses a recent OSHA 500-hour card and has six years of full-time construction safety experience
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to travel frequently across North America; international travel may be required.
