POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides direct security and related public services.
Responsibilities
You will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian's commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.
* Our Healthcare SecurityOfficers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Our SecurityOfficers also provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Completed High School Diploma or GED
* Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
* Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
* Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
* Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Desired Qualifications of the SecurityOfficer:
* Previous work experience with the public in a service setting
Taser Qualifications:
* Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a Taser position and annually thereafter.
* Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a Taser.
* Ability to participate in and pass additional Taser training at the discretion of the Taser instructor
and/or Tarian.
* Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian's Taser Policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.

Position Overview: Security personnel are trained for several different posts including those detailed below. Working in conjunction with the airport and government agencies, the main priority of each position is to ensure that we maintain compliance with local and federal regulations in respect to each of the following:
* Reporting actual or potential breach of Airport Security
* Maintain all communication protocols in a professional and efficient manner
* Alarm and emergency response including communicating with necessary airport community stakeholders and first responders to ensure timely response to all reported incidents
* Maintaining access control to secured areas within the airport
* Verify personal identification and access badge of person/people requesting entrance to secured areas

Responsibilities
You will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian's commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.
* Our Healthcare SecurityOfficers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Our SecurityOfficers also provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Completed High School Diploma or GED
* Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
* Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
* Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
* Valid driver's license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Taser Qualifications:
* Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a Taser position and annually thereafter.
* Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a Taser.
* Ability to participate in and pass additional Taser training at the discretion of the Taser instructor
and/or Tarian.
* Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian's Taser Policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
