Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in loading and unloading products from trucks and or performing any handling or value added function for our customer. Make sure that every employee follows the work instructions of the bill of lading, receiver or any specific work instructions Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local statutes, OSHA requirements and Federal Labor law and requirements. Develop and maintain a productive work team by hiring, training, motivating, apply sound communication, directing the work force in the most efficient way, praising, counseling, and discipline employees. Utilize the performance evaluation system for recommending promotions, wage increases, and terminations. Must have a productivity program in place and track all important job characteristics, which will allow the Supervisor to be able to evaluate employees properly. Must make sure that all equipment is in good working condition, properly maintained and all safety equipment is being used. Must have proper documentation and employee involvement to achieve this properly. Make sure that all employees are trained properly on the equipment and they are operating it correctly. Must make sure that the building is being maintained properly and is kept as a food grade facility. The security of the facility and integrity of customer products is mandatory. Supervise customer service associates to assure the office and warehouse are working in unison to provide 100 percent customer satisfaction for all shipments and receipts. Inventory accuracy must be maintained by product and location. All Customer accounts must be given proper priority levels that allows for required level of operations, administrative support, appropriate contacts and response to special requests. Maintains High Integrity - honors commitments and the Values of TAGG Logistics. Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job. • Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Four years distribution supervisory/management experience leading a staff of 10+ employees in operations of at least 60,000 sq. ft. Experience with WMS, metric-driven operations, labor and resource management. College degree not required. Ability to follow procedures and instructions. Be able to listen to employee's needs and concerns and be able to motivate and create teams. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication. Pass written and obstacle course for fork truck certification. Physical & Work Environment Demands The physical and work environment demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will be required to manually lift and stack products that ranges from 5 pounds to 75 pounds. Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, or walking for extended periods of time. The work element will be hot in the summer and cold in the winter - this position is not in a controlled environment. Must be able to work additional hours and up to seven days a week, as needed. Essential Job Functions: Technical Leadership & Development Act as the program lead technician, providing diagnostic support and troubleshooting guidance for complex mechanical and electrical issues (tractors, trailers, containers, reefers, chassis). Author and maintain technical SOPs for PMs, major repairs, and diagnostics. Train, certify and mentor, shop and mobile technicians to standardized benchmarks (OEM, internal SOPs). Develop and maintain the Technician Development Roadmap, defining competencies from entry level through master certification. Collaborate cross-departmentally to identify failure trends related to technician retention and implement corrective actions. Oversee the upfit and design of mobile service trucks, including tooling and diagnostic system configurations. Track technician productivity, rework rate, and maintenance location performance using data generated by Fleet Maintenance Management Systems such as TMT and REACH. Report on results and impact to Fleet Maintenance leadership. Recommend changes to technician, tooling, and training investments based on performance data. Provide field-level diagnostic and repair support during peak workloads or critical breakdowns. Lead on-site technical audits for new shop locations. Validate and refine mobile maintenance processes to ensure consistency with in-shop standards. Required Qualifications: Minimum 6+ years of progressive diesel or fleet maintenance experience (tractor/trailer/mobile). Advanced diagnostic capability (electrical, emissions, refrigeration, hydraulics). Proven record of technician leadership, training, or multi-shop oversight. OEM Systems Certified, ASE Master Certifications considered. Advanced proficiency in TMT or equivalent Fleet Maintenance System, OEM diagnostic software. Strong data-analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent) for KPI monitoring. Valid CDL A or B preferred; clean MVR required. Primary Activities and Responsibilities * Perform patrol activities including facility checks, rail surveillance, trespasser abatement, inspection of trains and container seals, crime hot spots, and terminal yards. Pursue, apprehend, and transport suspects of criminal activity against persons and or/property as needed and determined by policy and state laws. * Prevent, detect, and deter terrorist activities in conjunction with other CSXT departments and public agencies to include law enforcement and homeland security entities. Pursue, apprehend, and transport suspects of terrorist activities as needed and determined by policy, state, and federal laws. * Investigate crimes on or against persons or railroad property that include theft, vandalism, derailment, signal damage, and track obstructions. Escort and protect CSXT trains and the traveling public on Amtrak and commuter rail operations while on CSXT tracks. * Observe and report safety issues and rail abnormalities including safe passage of trains, track conditions, overhead conditions, and facilitate efficient movement of trains daily. * Provide expertise to local law enforcement organizations investigating accidents and incidents at crossings and other railroad/public points of contact. Act as a facilitator to ensure the continuation of rail service after accidents, incidents, crimes, or weather-related emergencies. * Establish collaborative partnerships with state, local, and federal government, and criminal justice agencies as well as internal (CSX) and external customers (e.g., organizations and community) to ensure the apprehension and prosecution of persons who commit crimes on or against the railroad. * Complete administrative duties such as situation reports, ordering and maintaining equipment, position training, entering information in various police systems and databases and participating in local task forces. * Miscellaneous tasks assigned by manager.
