Position Overview:
The Senior Account Manager role is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to proactively manage a designated book of business in the employee benefits sector. Job Overview:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients, producers and company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial accounts. The Commercial Lines Account Manager must have a thorough understanding of commercial insurance policies & coverage. The book of business is both new and renewal.
Responsibilities:
* Client Portfolio Management: Manage a dedicated book of business, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded. Review and work open activities in EPIC daily. Includes, handling endorsements, change requests, billing and certificates, proposals, analyze quotes, order coverages, and checking policies.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments, providing insights and recommendations for coverage adjustments. Review and assist with all client audits or audit disputes.
* Policy Analysis: Analyze property and casualty insurance policies, identifying areas for improvement and customization. Must have a thorough understanding of insurance contracts.
* Renewal Negotiations: Responsible for managing the renewal cycle and coordinating with the Producer on the account including marketing submissions, ensuring the clients receive optimal coverage and terms.
* Client Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for clients within the organization, collaborating with various teams to address complex client needs.
* Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Customer Service Representatives, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications:
* More than 3 years of licensed experience in Property & Casualty Insurance. Proven track record in client management and account development.
* In-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, regulations, and industry trends.
* Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Excellent organization and time management skills.
