Responsible for digging trenches and holes. This includes opening and closing the bucket, raising and lowering the boom, and digging, lifting and dumping dirt. Additionally, the backhoe operator must understand how to drive the backhoe both forward and backward and how to use the stabilizers to prevent machine movement while digging. Key Duties. * Able to operate the excavator and backhoe on road building and heavy construction projects. * Able to operations for road bed preparation, utilities trenching, excavations, pipeline, land clearing and demolition. * Able to operate a excavators with variety of attachments. * Capable of performing duties such as earthmoving. * Able to lift in close proximity to other people, equipment and utilities. * Able to work on sites and on all types of terrain. * Implementation of production goals. * Safe operation of Equipment. * OSHA trenching requirements. * Knowledge of the Clear Zone. * Grade and survey layout. * Working and installing trench boxes and steel plates. * Proper pre-start, shutdown and daily maintenance including cleaning machine. * Loading trucks. * Load and unloading of small equipment. * Read grade stakes. * Cut grade. * Excavation for structures and footings. * Fine grade slopes and contours suitable for sod. * Other duties as assigned. Employee must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties. * Frequently walk and climb on uneven surfaces of heavy equipment. * Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds and carry at least 30 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance. * Manual dexterity to operate hand tools. * Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment. * The Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely. The certified payroll clerk will ensure the company complies with the Davis-Bacon Act and related laws by ensuring employees are paid prevailing wages on federally funded projects. Key Duties * Review Certified Payroll for accuracy by reviewing information on Statement of Compliance, Wage and Hour Record, Deduction Record, and Fringe Benefit Record. * Assure pertinent information is not missing on Statement of Compliance, Wage and Hour Record, Deduction Record, and Fringe Benefit Record (e.g. dates, signatures, subcontractor's name, job info, etc.). * Ensure dates are correct on Statement of Compliance, Wage and Hour Record, Deduction Record, and Fringe Benefit Record. * Ensure employees are paid the appropriate amount per the approved wage tables for each specific job. * Ensure that all other total amounts are correct (e.g. project gross, weekly gross, deductions and net pay). * Work with subcontractors to understand how the Certified Payrolls are completed and assist if necessary. * Ensure Department of Transportation inquiries are resolved in a timely manner (e.g. missing Certified Payroll's, observations and/or interviews that are not reflected on Certified Payroll, proof of pay, etc.) * Knowledge of electronic filing systems is a must (e.g. LCP tracker, Mars and Elations). * Organization and time management skills required. * Ability to maintain confidential information. * Other duties as assigned. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform billing and collections in a fast-paced environment for three asphalt plants from our headquarters in Winter Park.. * Ensure timely efficient billing of invoices weekly to our customers * Resolve customer billing problems * Filing of notice to owners, liens and sworn statements of accounts * Make outbound collection calls/emails for assigned accounts as necessary * Prepare daily reconciliation and submission of deposit documentation to central accounting team * Create A/R aging report weekly * Respond to customer requests for lien releases, invoices, ticket copies, or statements * Currently a notary or eligible to be enrolled as a notary. * Processing of credit applications for review by division controller * Computerized billing software experience required (SAP experience a plus) * Proficiency with MS 365 to include Outlook, Word and Excel * Must be well organized and detail oriented * Hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F * Other office duties as assigned and requested Qualification Requirements * General.
