A Day In The Life
As a CNC Machine Operator, your daily responsibilities will include:
Accurately read and interpret calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Review and understand CNC prints, including dimensions down to .000, to maintain strict tolerances.
Complete all required documentation, such as quality forms and daily inspection reports, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Utilize a variety of hand tools and shop equipment, including air guns, wrenches, and drill presses, to support machine operation and minor adjustments.
Monitor machine performance throughout the shift, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues quickly and maintain a smooth workflow.

Experience & Skills:
1-5 years of experience operating CNC machines or similar precision machining equipment.
Proficiency in reading CNC prints and understanding tolerances to .000.
Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Familiarity with machine controls (start, stop, E-stop) and basic troubleshooting.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred.
Technical & Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and technical documentation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to complete quality forms and inspection reports accurately.

Summary:
As a Planner at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by being responsible for scheduling and planning the manufacturing activities of an assigned product line and subordinate operations when necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyzes and communicates part shortage(s) to Materials Manager and buyers prior to Design Reviews
Prepares for and attends engineering Design Reviews and New Product Launch meetings
Supports Materials Manager, Manufacturing Manager and Director Supply Chain in implementing optimal material flow analysis including: Kanban, batch flow and other pull initiatives where applicable
Supports corporate initiatives in regards to material flow and other improvement activities
Supports aggregate planning initiatives and provides forecasting data as required
Plans, schedules and communicates sub-assemblies and finished goods priorities through production operations ensuring targets and goals are clear and understood
Promotes and works toward level loading of schedules through manipulation of shop orders
Supports production smoothing by providing data and analysis of actual vs expected production build times
Supports analysis of Workflow by conducting studies on: Capacity, Cycle Times, Takt and lead times
Develops Pareto activity charts and provides associated improvement activity data to Production Manager, Materials Manager and/or Director Supply Chain
Communicates schedules and scheduling related metrics through Visual Management boards and Gemba walks
Develops detailed schedules, material requirements lists, and production plans for established product lines
Monitors actual versus planned production times and variances
Updates the operating system data in a timely and accurate manner
Manages and maintains adequate inventory levels of finished components, work in progress, and raw materials
Communicates effectively with all levels internal and external customers
Recommends ideas for process improvements and quality improvements
Supports AS9100/ISO9001 quality initiatives
Interfaces with design engineering and production to plan timely completion of development hardware
Evaluates and recommends planned delivery dates for new orders
Facilitates product line production status meetings
Analyzes MRP output to determine raw material requirements
Ensures product quality and compliance with all policies and procedures
Performs special projects as assigned, along with continually improving efficiencies of the planning group
Updates raw material MRP planning parameters (min/max attributes, safety stocks, lot sizes, etc.) for new items, along with changes required for existing items
Leads meetings, communicates and tracks action items for special projects as assigned by Materials Manager or Director, Supply Chain
Measures schedule adherence and effectiveness and adjusts planning methodologies accordingly

Summary:
As a Senior Buyer at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing assigned Dover and Pole/Zero purchasing category strategies. These strategies must reduce the total cost of materials and services, reduce overall supply base risk, and support supply base performance improvements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidder conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates terms and conditions, selects or recommends suppliers, writes awards, administers resulting subcontracts, and expedites orders when necessary
Confers with suppliers and analyzes supplier operations to determine factors that affect prices and determine the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules
Participates in developing negotiation strategy and skillfully utilizes techniques to achieve negotiation targets
Works with various functions within the company to select suppliers and establish alternative sources of supply
Administers and manages supplier contracts to ensure compliance externally and internally
Monitors and adjusts purchase orders to maximize quality and service level while minimizing inventory
Keeps abreast of market trends, changes in business practices in the assigned commodity, and new or altered types of materials
Tracks cost savings, cost avoidances, and cost increases
Assist in the transition of new products from product development to the manufacturing process by working with program management

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Program Manager of Operations and Supply Chain initiatives with a focus on resolving complex cross-functional challenges. This role will be instrumental in driving past due backlog recovery, developing sustained recovery plans, supporting line of balance analysis, managing production ramp-ups, supporting alternative sourcing, and addressing obsolescence issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong bias for action, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders including customers, operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering. Regular travel within the U.S. to customer sites, supplier locations, and production facilities will be required. This role will report to the Aerospace and Defense Business Unit Manager.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Key Projects you will lead as needed:
* Backlog Recovery: Lead efforts to identify, analyze, and recover past due backlogs. Develop and execute recovery plans to meet customer delivery commitments.
* Obsolescence Management: Manage obsolescence risk projects, working with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation and replacement strategies.
* Production Ramp-Up: Manage and coordinate various production ramp-up activities to meet increasing demand while maintaining quality and schedule. Support plant capital projects activities.
Functions you support as needed - may turn into cross functional projects you may lead:
* Line of Balance Analysis: Support line of balance and capacity analysis completed by the Demand Planning team to optimize production flow and identify bottlenecks.
* Alternative Sourcing: Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams to identify and qualify alternative suppliers and materials to mitigate risks related to supply disruptions and obsolescence.
* Continuous Improvement: Support opportunities for process improvements across the product lifecycle to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Expectations for the role:
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between customers, operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering to ensure alignment and timely resolution of production and delivery issues.
* Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally to visit customers, suppliers, and manufacturing sites as needed to support program objectives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
* 5+ years of combined experience in program management, preferably in managing initiatives within the serial production environment.
* Proven ability to manage complex programs with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet)
* Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles and best practices.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, industrial products, or technology sectors is a plus.
* PMP Certification.

Primary Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Engineering Manager - Electronics plans, organizes, and directs a team of engineers to meet plant and company objectives for design, new product development, and improvement of existing product lines. The manager must have the ability to collaborate with Global Engineering, Product Management, Project Managers and other operational departments to ensure the delivered product is production-ready and has the greatest chance of commercial success while expanding Hydro's brand value. The Segment Engineering Manager should be very target-focused in and meet the department's KPI of NPD Revenue, NPD Quality, On-time delivery, and On-BOM cost by performing or facilitating the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively manage assigned projects to deliver on-time, within scope, and within budget.
Consults with customers, vendors, and cross functional departments to prepare design modifications and functional expectations.
Analyze product specification and performance requirements to ensure customer expectations and company profitability expectations can be met.
Develop and oversee product design plans and methods of manufacturing for assigned product lines.
Provide electronic technical direction and planning for internal and external engineers throughout the research, design, development, construction and launch phases of New Product Development.
Plans, coordinates and directs the activities of the engineering team to ensure company targets are achieved
Manage and prioritize product development and sustaining work to achieve defined targets.
Leverage disciplined project management to ensure projects successfully complete defined stage gates.
Analyze costs, prepare budgets, and provide relevant reporting for project and team activities.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve product quality, manufacturability, and cost of assigned product lines.
Establish and maintain relationships with third party designers leveraging services when necessary to meet established targets.
Manage, mentor and develop a team of engineers in all aspects of the role.
Oversee development of engineering staff to ensure cross training in core departmental core competencies.
In partnership with the Director of Engineering and Functional Leaders establish team performance criteria and annual objectives.
Facilitate design reviews to ensure optimization of design and resolve technical issues during the design process.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation
In partnership with the director of engineering, take necessary steps to document and protect intellectual property.
Provides leadership in the areas of innovation and development of intellectual property while adhering to engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar degree.
7+ years of experience in product engineering and 3+ years in Management.
Previous project management experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate across all departments and at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record managing a team who has taken designs from concept to launch.
Continue improvement mindset
Previous experience with:
Hardware design with schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout, Altium experience is desired.
Hardware designs and communication interfaces including but not limited to:PWM control, I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus, USB, 1394, CAN, Ethernet, etc.
Designing and writing embedded code for a wide range of electrical microcontrollers, experience with various compilers and debugging tools, and experience with PLCs.

Implement end-of-life (EOL) strategy and manage activities e.g. last-time buys, lifetime buys, inventory, stakeholder notifications etc.
Customer Complaints - Action and Resolutions to Customer Feedback
Triage all customer complaints for products made in assigned Factory.
Listen and understand the customer's problems. Acknowledge feedback and apologize sincerely where appropriate.
Collect wholistic feedback e.g. reaching out to global tech teams; try to identify and duplicate the problem, etc.
Participate, as required, with Factory Sustaining team, in root-cause analysis. Ensure decisions are data-driven and benefit the customer first and foremost while ensuring operational excellence.
Support quick resolution of returns, non-conformance, customer complaints or Technical Field tickets
Communicate progress and resolution(s) to Sales, Internal Sales, Customer Service, ensuring total customer satisfaction with resolution(s).
Work with Mar-Comm or Technical Documentation on Technical Service Bulletins, Training and other collaterals.

Are you an Electronic Technician with a passion for supporting our nation's military communications? If so, we want to speak with you about this opportunity! As a Technician at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by being responsible for the basic testing, aligning and troubleshooting of the standard and volume-based products.
Primary Responsibilities of this position include:
Setup and perform repetitive technical electronic test functions with the assistance of more senior technicians and the aide of written procedures and instructions.
Align, tune and troubleshoot standard product filters.
Troubleshoot circuit card assemblies to component level.
Perform simple electronic assembly such as installing a select-on test component or soldering a tap wire on an inductor during filter alignment in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.
Perform simple mechanical assembly such as installing a cover or installing cables in order to get the product to perform to specification properly.
Required to perform component level troubleshoot and repair of RF hopping filters and subassemblies such as digital controllers, RF Platforms, etc.
Use of schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
Standard product technicians will use Agilent/HP Network Analyzers, and automated tests sets.
Perform simple continuity tests on wire harnesses per manufacturing drawings and / or wire charts.
Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:
Must be well versed in the use of common RF test equipment (including calibration & troubleshooting).
Must have knowledge of RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss as well as an advance understanding of filter alignment and component function.
Basic PC skills are required for data entry and use of test software.
Demonstrates ability to read schematics and troubleshoot simple circuits.
Exposure to commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supplies, spectrum analyzer and network analyzer.
Ability to interface effectively with internal customers.
Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.
High level of attention to detail.
Ability to read drawings and schematics.
Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification.
Requirements Include:
Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2-year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school required.
Minimum 2 years of RF related technician's experience required.
Knowledge of J-STD-OO1-D preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed is required.
