Requirements Key Responsibilities * Weld and fabricate pipe and pressure vessels in an industrial/fabrication environment in accordance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. * Perform welding using processes such as SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW; interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and written specifications. * Fit, align, and secure components using appropriate measuring tools and fixtures to achieve accurate, high-quality welds. * Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning surfaces. * Inspect welds visually and with measuring tools to verify quality and compliance with standards. * Safely operate and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment such as forklifts and hoists. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and OSHA requirements. * Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production schedules and timely project completion. * Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety meetings and training.
