2006

In 2006, they built an inbound community to help people achieve their business goals and called it – HubSpot.

2007

HubSpot also launched their Website Grader in 2007.

In 2007, the company’s revenue was $255,000.

2008

The first HubSpot solutions were sold in 2008.

In 2008, Halligan permitted a sales representative to begin with the selling of HubSpot’s core product to the third parties.

2009

In 2009 Schwartz’s revenues from digital-based services grew by 300%. Based on this success, Schwartz was the example HubSpot needed to prove the value of social media, SEO and detailed visitor engagement reports, and soon after Forrester noted that HubSpot offered something unique.

2010

Soon, other companies became interested in what HubSpot was offering, and by 2010, the company’s revenue reached $15,6 million.

2010 - HubSpot acquired Oneforty, and releases multiple free tools as inbound marketing assets.

2011

In 2011, Halligan received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2011 New England Award.

The company also released a Twitter tracking feature in 2011.

In 2011, HubSpot acquired an app store for Twitter known as Oneforty.

2012

Their latest funding was raised on Nov 5, 2012 from a Series E round.

In 2012, the company launched Inbound which is a conference for both the marketers and HubSpot customers.

2013

In 2013 HubSpot opened its first international office located in Dublin, Ireland, and listed itself as a public offering the following year.

2014

2014 saw HubSpot filing for an initial public offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 25th, requesting they be listed on the NY Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HUBS.

In 2014, HubSpot also launched its legendary product - HubSpot free CRM. A year later, the Boston Globe named the company the best enterprise to work for yet again.

2014 The sprocket hits the floor of the NYSE for HubSpot's first initial public offering.

2015

In 2015, HubSpot's CMO Mike Volpe was fired because of his attempt to obtain a draft copy of "Disrupted: My Misadventure in the Start-Up Bubble", written by former employee Daniel Lyons.

2015 HubSpotters release 15,000 orange ping pong balls into HQ’s atrium to celebrate the company’s 15,000 customer milestone.

2017

The revenue of the company reached $1,287 million in 2021.
