A Server Apprentice at Vandelay Hospitality Group is responsible for assisting our service staff with providing exceptional service to our guests. The Server Apprentice is expected to perform in a hospitable manner and play an integral role in supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant while also anticipating the guests' needs. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed, while exceeding expectations of all.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
Assist servers, bartenders and hosts when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items.
Run food from the kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course is complete and accurate
Run beverages from the bar to guest tables and ensure beverages are always full
Remove used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table.
Communicate with server, bartenders and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service.
Maintain cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables.
Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
Detail oriented with strong communication skills and work ethic
Team oriented with a strong sense of punctuality and reliability
Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while being positive, respectful, professional and having a genuine attitude towards guests and colleagues
Fluent in both written and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible to lead one or more construction projects and for the management of the overall planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety, and completion of these projects. Develop, update, modify (as required) and maintain the project schedule including a master schedule, 60-day look ahead schedules for their assigned trades, and two-week look ahead schedules for their assigned trades.
Understand and be familiar with the date by which all materials must arrive on the job and convey that information to the project management team for preparation of the contract items lists and shop drawing schedules.
Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to complete each project on time.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Commercial Kitchen Equipment, HVAC Refrigeration Technician. The technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. Additionally, the technician will communicate with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Qualifications
Experience in Food Preparation and Cooking
Knowledge of Hygiene standards and practices
Strong Communication skills and ability to provide excellent Customer Service
Technical skills in diagnosing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment
Ability to work independently and remotely
Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus
Previous experience in the commercial kitchen equipment industry is advantageous
