Michael S. Moore is executive vice president and president of Walmart Central, leading the central geographic business unit of Walmart U.S. He is responsible for operations, real estate, supply chain and merchandising in the Mississippi River Delta, Central Plains, Texas and Midwest divisions. Mike began his Walmart career in 1988 as an assistant manager in Carthage, Mo. Since that time, he has held many successful leadership roles as co-manager, store manager and district manager in Oklahoma and Nebraska. Bell Nursery grows and ships tens of millions of plants annually, which are sold exclusively through The Home Depot. Appointed by Governor Larry Hogan, Gary serves on the Maryland Stadium Authority Executive Board, as well as the Maryland Critical Areas Commission for the Chesapeake & Atlantic Coastal Bays.Gary & his wife Sonia are directly involved in many community activities, and have taken a particular interest in children and young adults in West Baltimore neighborhoods that have become part of a cycle of poverty.
