Environmental, Health, and Safety Director
This role is essential for improving collaboration with Hudson's leadership and for leading the development and implementation of Hudson's Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) strategy. The focus will be on regulatory compliance, operational and transportation safety, and industrial hygiene. This position is responsible for creating scalable, data-driven programs that empower field teams, enhance operational safety, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. The EHS Director will set the strategic direction and oversee all environmental, health, and safety programs across Hudson.
Essential Duties Include:
Develop and execute Hudson EHS program in alignment with corporate goals and applicable regulations.
Ensure the organization's operational practices comply with applicable EHS and transportation legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Hudson's EHS policies.
Work closely with Governance, Compliance, and Risk Assessment Manager.
Stay up to date with organizational best practices, processes, benchmarks, and industry trends; shares best practices within and across teams.
Support continuous learning by leading/driving a culture of constant learning and holding teams accountable for integration of learning into work strategies.
Develop annual education and training programs for management and staff (e.g., DOT, HazMat Training, EHS compliance, proper use of tools and equipment, and risk factors contributing to hazards to prevent workplace injuries) based on organizational needs; drive alignment and hold teams accountable for competency assessments to measure and ensure training effectiveness.
Develop programs as needed for evaluation/sampling for Industrial Hygiene concerns/Indoor Air Quality Assessments.
Coordinate with the Director of Quality on such matters as maintaining ISO 9001 management systems.
Coordinate procedures and processes for the storage and handling of waste and flammable products.
Management of environmental consultants.
Coordinates periodic facility internal audits.
Serve as EHS subject matter expert for compliance programs and guide business teams.
Required education and experience
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety, or related field experience.
10+ years of progressive experience in EHS, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, technology, or large-scale operations.
Proven success managing compliance programs and safety initiatives.
Experience dealing with federal agencies including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, and DOT PHMSA.
Expert knowledge in at least one of the following federal statutes and implementing regulations: the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act, Clean Air Act (CAA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act (CWA), OSHA, and relevant local/state regulations.
Willingness to file EPCRA reports.
Familiarity with TSCA, and EU regulations including REACH.
Excellent communication, influence, and leadership skills across all levels of the organization.
Experience of partnering cross-functional across an organization. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally, and effectively with internal clients and customers.
Self-motivated, highly organized, articulate, detail-oriented, and hard-working with excellent analytical and negotiating skills.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be flexible and adapt to frequently changing workloads and responsibilities with acute attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with industry best practices
Ability to communicate complex compliance topics clearly and effectively
Must have initiative, be able to act decisively, work independently, and exercise good judgment.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Field work and desk/office work. Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand is required to access various locations on the project site.
CRITICALITY OF ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance and punctuality is required. Project schedule and is based on a 8-hour day, 5 days per week. Overtime may be required through duration of the job.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in CNC machining, assembly, repair/service, or production operations

The Communications Engineer will provide professional advice and technical expertise to various teams, including designing, developing, installing, and troubleshooting communications systems. The candidate must be able to work with different disciplines and have excellent communication skills. The Engineer is expected to participate in company initiatives, including innovation programs, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing. Travel to different sites may be required, and the ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The Communications Engineer will serve as a technical expert and representative for the company in matters related to telecommunications and radio communications, providing expert technical recommendations to vendors, manufacturers, and design firms. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the latest advancements in 5G, 6G, satellite, and radio communications, as well as experience in designing and implementing robust and secure communications infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and expertise for the development, implementation, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems and infrastructure, including radio communications, satellite communications, and 5G/6G technologies.
Originate and carry out engineering studies to determine optimal solutions to complex technical problems, increase revenue, reduce cost, and improve process safety.
Work with and/or lead task teams assigned to investigate incidents or solve specific technical problems, and undertake special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations.
Develop and maintain company standards, material specifications, procedures, and best practices to enhance company profitability, safety, and productivity by applying and interpreting key industry codes and standards relevant to telecommunications.
Review and evaluate capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to the company, and act as a company representative in technical dealings with vendors, manufacturers, and design firms.
Evaluate and introduce best practices and new technologies to enable the company to achieve Best in Class performance in the telecommunications industry.
Perform cost analyses and Value Engineering studies to recommend cost-effective solutions to technical issues.
Conduct seminars and technical exchange meetings to promote new technologies and best practices to personnel from other engineering organizations and facilities.
Publish papers for peer-reviewed journals and deliver presentations to international audiences at technical exchange meetings.
Deliver technical courses to young talent in the company through the Technical Services Professional Academy (TSPA).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, or Electronics and Communication), or a related field from an accredited university.
20 years of progressive experience in telecommunications, including at least 5 years focused on radio communications, satellite communications, and 5G technologies.
Must have knowledge of telecommunications systems, including network architecture, protocol, infrastructure design, and performance optimization. These include but not limited to: Experience in IoT/IIOT and its applications in telecommunications, experience in civil engineering and underground infrastructure, including the design and implementation of fiber-optic cables and other telecommunications infrastructure, experience in wireless communications, including Industrial wireless protocols (i.e., ISA100 and WirelessHART), strong understanding of telecommunications standards and regulations, including those related to 5G, 6G, satellite, and radio communications.
Must be recognized as a proven expert within the industry and professional societies and industrial organizations.

Position Overview
The Assistant Plant Manager supports the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of Hudson Technologies' manufacturing facility, including production, personnel management, safety, and compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Support the Plant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the facility to ensure safety, compliance, and production efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between the Plant Manager and the production team to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Assist in managing production schedules, ensuring timely output while maintaining quality standards and minimizing downtime.
• Supervise and support production team leads operators to achieve optimal performance and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility that complies with OSHA and company policies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), assist with root cause analysis, and help drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment functionality and product certification to AHRI700 standards.
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and development of team members to foster a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
• Participate in audits, safety meetings, and compliance reviews and support all reporting and documentation requirements.
• Step in for the Plant Manager during absences and assist with external and internal communications as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in a manufacturing, production, or chemical handling environment.
• Experience working with refrigerants, compressed gases, or regulated chemicals is highly desirable.
• Lean Six Sigma certification required; Green Belt or higher strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards, quality control practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve problems, and execute plans under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics365 preferred).
