The Patient Financial Services Representative is responsible for working remotely to provide Fairview Health patients an understanding of billing and insurance processing of their healthcare services. The CSC Representative Lead will provide training and oversight for staff regarding the financial solutions available to our patients either through direct payments, payment plans, or screening for qualification for assistance programs. The Lead is the first point of escalation regarding complex patient inquiries and disputes.
Patient Financial Services Representative
Education and Experience Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in an office clerical setting, with at least one year in a hospital or clinic business office.
Preferred: Associates Degree, Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
At least 1 year working with customer complaints or disputes.
Experience with Commercial Providers
Preferred experience with ICD-9 and ICD-10 medical coding, diagnosis codes, denial codes, and the Epic EMR system
Strong interest in learning new IS systems (PASS, Deloitte Overlay System, Healthworks, etc.) as well as the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
The CSC Representative Lead will oversee the collection for both hospital and physician accounts in all systems and understands in depth the Registration, Hospital Billing, and Clinic Billing functions that are necessary to resolve accounts including negotiation of settlements and payment arrangements. They will have detailed knowledge of the Functions within the Revenue Cycle and how they interact in the life of the patient account. They will be responsible for overseeing the pre-registration process for Hospital visits and will be well-versed in our auto-dialer functionality. JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer for an exciting remote opportunity based in Miami. Our client is a leader in Web3 innovation, developing cutting-edge applications in cryptocurrency trading and blockchain infrastructure. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence the quality standards of next-generation financial technology products while collaborating with a highly skilled engineering team. In this critical position, you will work directly with the CTO and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust, secure, and high-performance crypto trading solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies for cutting-edge crypto and Web3 applications, ensuring product excellence
Drive quality assurance through a mix of manual and automated testing approaches, covering integration, regression, load, and security testing scenarios
Establish robust defect management processes, including thorough documentation and tracking systems
Take ownership of issue resolution by working directly with engineering teams to investigate, reproduce, and resolve complex technical challenges
Implement proactive performance monitoring and reliability analysis to maintain system excellence
Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and automation frameworks
Champion quality standards through comprehensive testing protocols and detailed documentation to ensure successful releases
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Proven ability to test large-scale, high-availability production systems
Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest, Postman)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail
Familiarity with blockchain technology (EVM, smart contracts, Web3)
Extensive QA experience in crypto/blockchain or fintech applications
Fluent English communication skills
TECHNICAL SKILLS (PREFERRED):
Performance testing expertise with JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Security testing and vulnerability assessment capabilities
ISTQB certification or equivalent
Open-source contributions to QA/testing projects
ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with distributed systems testing and microservices architecture
Knowledge of API testing and WebSocket protocols
Familiarity with data consistency testing in distributed ledger systems
Experience with test environments in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
