What We're Looking For:
Mechanical experience or education (diesel, hydraulic, electrical, etc.)
Familiarity with equipment operation
Good communication and customer service skills
Must be 18+ for shop work, 21+ with a clean driving record for field roles
Ability to read or learn schematics
Forklift cert or willingness to train
Heavy Techs must pass the DOT Med Certification

The Rental Service Manager will be responsible for directing operational and staff activities. The Rental Service Manager must possess a deep knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and repair, the skills necessary to ensure efficient shop operations and a continuous improvement mindset.

Coordinate and prioritize maintenance and equipment repair in the shop & customer sites to improve turnaround time
Oversee Louisiana CAT warranty administration, submissions, and claims

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are searching for a HR Administrator to join our growing operations at our Reserve, Louisiana location.
JOB SUMMRARY
The HR Administrator provides critical support to the Human Resources department in areas such as: recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement. This position is designed for a motivated individual who demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within the HR profession.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide administrative and operational support across HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding by coordinating interviews, post-offer activities (background checks, physicals, start dates) and maintaining organized, timely communication with hiring managers and new employees.
Facilitate portions of new hire orientation and help create a welcoming and engaging experience for incoming employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential records; assist in transitioning paper files to digital systems.
Prepare and maintain HR reports, spreadsheets, and compliance documentation.
Support department invoice accounting activities.
Collaborate on HR programs and initiatives which may include employee recognition, engagement, and training.
Help ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies through up-to-date knowledge, documentation and postings.
Assists with updating foundational aspects of the HR department including review and analysis of job descriptions, postings and coding.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent; degree preferred
1 or more years of HR experience required.
Strong computer and systems aptitude including advanced proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications; prior experience working with Paylocity a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday on-site;
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to process paperwork and utilize office equipment (including personal computer, phone, copiers, etc.) A large portion of the day is spend communicating orally in person and by phone. THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Condition Monitoring Analyst, you will evaluate machine conditions and trends, compile reports and make recommendations to customers regarding machine condition by utilizing the five elements of Condition Monitoring: SOS, Inspections, Electronic Data, Site, Repair History and Component Tracking and Site Conditions.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
Compile machine data to review, evaluate, and trend machine condition.

Develop and distribute Level 3 Condition Monitoring reports as requested
Generate leads from Scheduled Oil Sampling (SOS) results and machine Event/Fault codes.
Interface with customers regarding technical questions about their equipment.

Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong computer skills including MS Office such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
2+ years experience diagnosing and/or repairing Caterpillar equipment OR

The person in this role will be be responsible for assisting the Used Equipment Sales Representatives with day-to-day deal flow and administrative tasks.

Our Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician internship is eligible for the SkillBridge program, a Department of Defense initiative to help transitioning, active-duty service members gain valuable civilian work experience. Service members participating in this DOD SkillBridge program will continue receiving their military compensation and benefits, while Louisiana Cat provides the civilian training and work experience.
This 26-week program provides professional growth and development of technical skills and knowledge through mentorship, instructor-led and computer-based learning, and on-the-job training preparing participants for a rewarding career with Louisiana Cat. Upon successful completion, participants will be eligible for continued employment with Louisiana Cat. Diesel technician is an “in demand” occupation with opportunities for professional advancement beyond initial employment.
ELIGIBILITY
Must be a current active-duty service member within 180 days of separation. This includes members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
Must be able to complete a 6-month diesel technician internship.
Proven mechanical aptitude.
Prior military experience in equipment or diesel maintenance and repair is helpful.
Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and always "safety-first" mentality every hour of every day.
Interested service members must gain approval from their unit commander to participate in the SkillBridge program. Service members should contact their installation SkillBridge point of contact for details about service and command-specific guidance about the SkillBridge approval process.
Successful completion of the SkillBridge program provides high probability of post-service employment with post-service compensation that is commensurate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of a diesel technician. First-year earning potential can be expected in the yearly range of $45,000 - $80,000. This yearly range is representative of the hourly rate, including typical overtime. This range is based on a technician's experience, skills, education and training. For technicians, overtime is typically calculated on a daily basis after 8 hours worked.

The yearly range indicated is representative of the hourly rate, including typical overtime. This range is based on a technician's experience, skills, education and training. For technicians, overtime is typically calculated on a daily basis after 8 hours worked.

Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with occasional loudness when equipment is running.
