Role Description: Huitt-Zollars' National Capital Region office (located in Alexandria, VA) has a great full-time opportunity for a Marketing/Proposal Coordinator with 5+ years Federal market experience. This role works with multi-disciplinary design teams in the completion of studies, development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects. Produce and coordinate production of company's business development materials, including qualification submittals, proposals, and presentations for clients; cooperate in timely maintenance of systems for supporting business development efforts, including project data, biographical information and experience of key personnel, and photography. Provide assistance to Managers and Principals in business development initiatives.

Duties:
Assist in development of consistent and on-going corporate communications that support awareness of firm and practice. initiatives, including in-house/external brochures and other collateral, presentations, promotional materials, infographics, flyers, and company news and announcements.
Draft engaging branded content for firm's social media platforms and monitor trending topics and industry related news; assist with website maintenance and content development.
Supports business development leaders to win new work through quality pursuit, SOQ, proposal strategies, and win themes; supports the Go/No-Go process.
Manages the comprehensive proposal and qualifications submittals process from kickoff to submission.
Works in a team atmosphere to develop proposal strategy and facilitate the proposal process. Responsibilities include writing copy, developing graphics, and ensuring delivery of final product.
Develop and edit proposal content and translate technical information to diverse audiences.
Maintains the database (resumes, project information, graphics, boilerplate library).
Provide assistance to Managers and Principals in business development initiatives.
Partners with communications/marketing team members to develop content for communication channels, including website, social media, and intranet that ensures consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
Manages design award submittals and processes with VP, Marketing and Business Development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.
5-10 years of relevant Federal market proposal development experience. SF330 experience preferred.
Experience in marketing in the architecture/engineering field is preferred.
Excellent writing, editing, and graphic design skills
Solid understanding of the basics of good design, especially about typography, color, and composition
Proficient software skills, including experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign, and Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to contribute to develop and implement winning proposal/presentation strategies
Knowledge of Shipley best practices a plus
Experience with Deltek CRM system a plus
Understanding of basic technical aspects of the A/E industry and previous experience managing proposals preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
Must have exceptional organizational skills, be able to work well with others, and work well under pressure.

Performs reconciliations of accounts receivable and billing records to ensure accuracy and completeness, processing adjustments and corrections to invoices as needed in adherence to team policies
Supports in ensuring all billing practices comply with relevant accounting standards, contractual obligations, and legal requirements, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of all billing transactions for audit purposes
Assists in monitoring working capital to ensure prompt billing of services and payment from client
Assists clients regarding billing inquiries, disputes, and adjustments

AECOM is seeking a Geologist tied to the Arlington, VA office. This position, within our Federal Remediation practice, will participate in a team to help execute a variety of Federal investigation/remediation projects. For a well qualified candidate, this position can be remote.
