Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:
The SR. HR Generalist, using broad HR knowledge, handles employee relations issues, manages the FMLA and PLOA Program, provides managers and employees with assistance with benefits, legal compliance, and other humanresources issues. Position Summary
This is a professional position located in State Office HumanResources and is responsible for independently providing administrative support to the Director of HumanResources, performing various essential humanresource duties, which require comprehensive knowledge of office and Agency policies, procedures, goals, and programs. Show initiative and take action beyond what is required to improve work product; self-start and complete assignments independently without constant supervision.
The Work You Will Do
Assist the Director of HumanResources with administrative duties and serve as the HR point of contact.
Perform office administrative support functions requiring independent judgment, research, and collection of information/data utilizing standard office equipment, electronic platforms, and database systems.
Conduct audits of personnel files.
Manage the 5-year fingerprint screening process.
Complete public record requests, file reviews, document requests, and other information.
Responsible for monitoring the HR portal, responding to tickets, and performing other duties associated with the portal.
Process outside employment forms.
Process applicable invoices in My Florida Market Place (MFMP) and/or Ariba.
Gather, compile, and record statistical data, written reports, and other information, reviewing and verifying for accuracy and completeness.
Manage HR Related emergency response tasks such as scheduling staff for disaster recovery efforts, emergency functions, and other tasks.
Performs other HR functions, assists with training logistics, and general administrative tasks and/or special projects as assigned.
