The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of employee compensation and benefit processes while contributing to data driven decision-making through comprehensive reporting. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Process payroll weekly, managing workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Input, review, audit time cards and verify accuracy of Communicates with supervisors and managers to correct and fix time card issues. Set-up, process, and monitor garnishment orders (i.e.: child support, levies, etc). Address and resolve employees' queries in a timely manner. Monitor and process employee information updates in payroll system. Process advance, termination and other out of cycle payments. Process accurate and timely month-end reporting. Sort and distribute weekly payroll check to the appropriate managers. Assist with Benefit open enrollment. Generate and prepare weekly journal entries reports and payroll spreadsheets. Day-to-day responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, and databases (digital and physical). • Assist in processing new hire and termination paperwork, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company and regulatory requirements. • Support with onboarding/offboarding processes (new hires, terminations, transfers) • Coordinate new-hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and 401(k) / retirement plan administration. • Collect, review, verify employee timesheets, attendance, and PTO requests for accuracy. • Track employee certifications, training records, and compliance requirements. • Support the coordination of employee training sessions and maintain training attendance logs. • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits in a professional and timely manner. • Assist with recruitment efforts including posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews. • Maintain confidentiality of all employee and company information at all times. • Perform general office duties such as scanning, filing, copying, and data entry to support HR and Operations needs.
