Responsibilities:
Administers with all internal HR related inquiries or requests including short- and long-term disability, FMLA, leaves, PTO and other related questions.
May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Conduct check ins with new hires and direct supervisors
Initiate annual updates on employee handbook and policies.
Oversee all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance.

Assist with reference checks and exit interviews

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR experience and a broad HR knowledge

Able to multitask and prioritize work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The role of the Onboarding Specialist is to oversee and manage the onboarding process for newly hired employees. This position entails serving as the primary point of contact and resource for both new hires and hiring managers during the onboarding journey. The Onboarding Specialist will collaborate with project managers to ensure a smooth and efficient badging process.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to new hires in navigating pre-employment activities such as background checks and drug testing, as well as completing essential onboarding documents such as I-9 and E-Verify, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly.
Effectively communicate new hire information and any updates to the payroll, IT, and HR departments.
Take responsibility for collecting and processing all necessary documentation for new hire onboarding.
Address ad hoc requests from managers, including temporary staffing needs.
Serve as the main point of contact for security badging requests, ensuring timely completion of all badging documents.
Support multiple badging contracts, collaborating with various project managers and external clients.
Conduct thorough data reviews of new hire information transferred from the recruitment application to the onboarding system, rectifying any errors as necessary.
Administer the Referral and Tuition Reimbursement programs.
Coordinate post-accident drug screenings as required.
Provide support to the global HR team whenever assistance is needed.
Contribute to enhancing the overall employee experience.
Receive cross-training in multiple HR areas to broaden skill set.
Manage the Welcome team's inbox and promptly respond to onboarding-related inquiries.
Perform additional assigned duties as required.
