Translate onboarding and policy documents as needed for Spanish-speaking employees. Serve as a liaison and point of contact for Spanish-speaking employees. Translate and communicate HR policies, updates, and procedures clearly and professionally. Assist in addressing employee questions, concerns, or complaints, and help resolve them appropriately. Maintain accurate employee records (electronic and paper) in accordance with applicable laws. Track attendance, leave of absence, FMLA, and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., EEO, ADA, FLSA, OSHA). Assist employees in enrolling in benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues-in both English and Spanish. Support the payroll process with timekeeping verification and payroll changes-in both English and Spanish. Translate HR communications, forms, memos, and signage for the workplace-in both English and Spanish. Support HR events, engagement activities, and employee appreciation efforts. Help prepare reports, handbooks, and audit documents. Track PTO, FMLA, and leave balances. And other duties assigned by the HR Manager. Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2-4 years of HR experience. Working knowledge of HR laws and practices is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Discretion and professionalism with confidential information. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
