Key Responsibilities
· Brand-Driven People Strategy: Partner with Field Operations leadership and regional teams to embed people strategy into business strategy-ensuring each hotel's HR approach reflects the unique ethos of its brand.

· GM Performance & Growth: Partner with Field Operations leaders to support GM performance management and development, ensuring alignment with brand standards and leadership expectations.
· Market & Legislative Partnership: Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate teams (e.g., Legal, Labor, Risk, HRIS, Benefits, WFM) to ensure property HR leaders are informed and aligned on local labor legislation and market trends. Act as a connector between field and corporate, helping translate evolving requirements into actionable, brand-aligned practices that enhance the colleague experience.
· Shepherding Strategic People Initiatives: Guide and support property HR leaders through thoughtful, intentional, and proactive people strategies-including organizational design, change management, job redesigns, role eliminations, and wage planning. Ensure these efforts are executed with care, compliance, and alignment to both brand identity and business goals, including legal review and strategic communication planning where applicable.
· Operational Excellence: Provide day-to-day support for HR Hub operations, including payroll review, colleague engagement, and employee relations-ensuring seamless execution that supports brand experience.
Experience Required:
10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role and a demonstrated track record of success and ideally in hospitality, lifestyle, or brand-led environments.

The salary range for this position is $101,300 to $145,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards and an annual bonus. As the Employee Relations Specialist, you will lead Plastipak's Employee Engagement program at our Champaign, IL location. You will be responsible for the employment lifecycle, from hire to retire, including transfers and promotions. You collaborate with managers and colleagues to shape experiences in the workplace, ensuring Associates feel valued, pride in their purpose, part of the community, and supported at every phase of their employment with the company.
You Will:
Partner with Manufacturing Site Leadership to formulate the Site engagement strategy & roadmap.
Lead planning and execution of employee recognition and rewards programs & Associate engagement activities
Shape & monitor new Associate onboarding & assimilation, assuring new Associates are set-up for success to thrive
Serve as a coach to leaders, providing tools & training to support healthy communication & relationships with Associates
Collect data via multiple measures, then analyze data to assess program efficacy & measure progress for continuous improvement
Be a visible presence, maintaining a finger-on-the-pulse of Associate engagement

You Have:

Qualifications
5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, specifically in the technology space including contracting, sourcing and negotiations
Successful track record in a large procurement organization
3+ years' Technology procurement experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong negotiation expertise with an understanding of key contracting concepts and legal terms
Ability to translate business requirements into agreements
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and reach consensus
Knowledge of financial analysis and management.
