The BBSI Business Partner is responsible for leading a multi-million dollar business unit that consults on a broad range of organizational development and operational issues. The primary objective of the Business Partner is to lead a team of subject matter experts in delivery of high-impact solutions that grow revenue and profits for small to mid-size clients as well as partner with client business owners to accelerate growth, reduce loss, and build better companies. The Business Partner will collaborate with client companies to educate, advise, and influence them on matters involving, but not limited to, cultural development, change management, strategic planning and growth strategy. This position is a full time, exempt position that reports to the Area Manager and works in partnership with other positions within the business unit and branch. Interacts with various levels of management, vendors, employees, and employee dependents. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, terminations). Assists and supports HRBPs in the design, communication, and execution of strategic People department initiatives in support of the business.This will include data analysis, audits, program design, communication, and training delivery. Maintains, and is responsible for, data integrity by either entering any required employee change information (new hires, job changes, terminations, promotions, transfers, etc.). How you will spend your time HR Team Leadership & Supervision (50%) Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for the CPE HR team. Policy, Compliance, Measurement & Academic Personnel (10%) Provide expert interpretation and application of UC academic and staff personnel policies, emphasizing practical, enabling solutions.
