This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone early in their HR career who wants real exposure, real responsibility, and real impact. The Role You'll partner closely with the Human Resources Director to support the full employee lifecycle-recruiting, onboarding, compliance, payroll support, and employee engagement. This role demands discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. Spanish/English fluency (verbal and written) is essential and used daily.     This is a temporary, part time position that will begin in March and end in July. Estimated hours will be 20-30 per week. This person will assist the HR team with administrative tasks to include processing new employee onboarding, talent acquisition coordination, HRMS system updates, HR compliance and communication. This person must have a high level of customer service and be able to handle sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner. Position Accountabilities Within this general framework, the following is used as a partial description and is not restrictive as to duties required: Assists with the coordination of various human resources programs, while providing a high quality, professional, employee focused service. Ensures all required documentation is completed for new employees prior to orientation to include new hire paperwork, compliance with Form I-9, screening tests, background checks, and submission of position specific certifications. Assists in the coordination of monthly new hire orientations. Maintains and updates employee files in coordination with the HR team. Coordinates employee allowance programs. Assists the HR Team with all aspects of HR including any administrative tasks. Coordinates HR record retention and compliance elements such as compliance posters. Assists with the coordination of employee events. Responsible for data entry, filing and scanning as needed. Comply with local, state and federal employment laws. Provide excellent external and internal customer service. Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications/ Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years prior human resource / administrative experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Prior experience with an enterprise level HRMS preferred. Experience working with a large client area (250+ employee base) preferred. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize are required. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills required. Excellent research and analytical skills required. Must be able to deal with sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner. Must be a self-starter requiring little oversight. No supervision exercised.
