Job Summary
As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions within the organization. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting the overall HR strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities and Activities:

Assists with maintaining the consistency of data in our HCM, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with training and development of any updates regarding the HCM with Managers and Supervisors.
Participates or leads company committees and is actively involved in events, initiatives, and continuous improvement (Engagement, Safety, Community).
Establish es a Plant presence and answer employee questions and any issues about human resources matters such as insurance, overall benefits package, payroll, safety, retirement plans, hiring procedures, and company policy.
Handles conflict resolution, including mediating disputes between managers and employees, and addressing employee complaints.
Provides coaching and training to Supervisors and Managers.
Supports the Innovairre mission, vision, and values throughout the organization.
Work s closely with global teams to facilitate shared services, organization, consistency, and ongoing training.
Supports employee engagement activities, including communication through electronic boards, bulletin boards, and other means of communication.
Participate s in Quarterly Town Hall Meetings.

The primary objective of the plant Office & HR Administrator is to ensure that all administrative needs within the Cedar Rapids Red Star Yeast (RSYC) and Lesaffre Blending (LBF) facilities are met; to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the office; and to provide direct administrative support to the plant HR, Plant Manager, and other department managers. The HR & Office Administrator reports directly to the plant HR Business Partner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties
* Promotes, leads, and adheres to a culture of safety awareness and engagement in compliance with the company's safety policies.
* Ensure that all administrative and clerical needs within the facility are being met in accordance with specified professional standards as prescribed by company management.
* Maintain personnel records per federal, state, local, and company policy.
* Lead the coordination of employee engagement activities and meetings, as well as compose campus-wide communications through various platforms (appspace, quarterly meetings, workplace postings, etc.)
* Assist with the processing of onboarding activities including ensuring pre-employment paperwork is completed, organizing orientation paperwork, reserving rooms, generating communications, requesting systems access, completing I-9s, etc.
* Maintain office procedures, systems, workflow, and resolve office concerns.
* Maintain a working knowledge of all office equipment/systems for problem resolution and assisting employees.
* Maintain physical aspects of the office space in an effective manner, managing the maintenance and organization of the environment, collaborating with Maintenance and IT teams, when necessary.
* Manage the temporary employee process including scheduling interviews, onboarding, and agency communications.
* Review time and attendance reports of temp employees for accuracy prior to processing weekly payroll and forward information in a timely, accurate manner to plant HR and corresponding parties for processing.

* Manage office supplies inventory and procurement of necessary equipment, materials, or items for the office.
* Process invoices in accordance with established procedures and serve as point of contact for internal and external questions concerning invoicing.

* Coordinate lunch ordering for Red Star and Lesaffre Blending.

Strategic Planning
