Is responsible for processing employee paperwork, gate/door badges and enrollment into hand-scan units, as well as data entry into computer systems. • Benefit coordinator for SRSL life, health, dental and vision benefit programs. Meets with employees and answers questions regarding coverage; enrolling employees timely when they become eligible, reviews insurance invoices, and authorizes payment. Performs semi-annual audits on all deductions. Ensures proper cancellation of coverage upon employee termination. • Takes and processes employee requests for badges, license renewal assistance, insurance assistance. Changes addresses/contacts, day-care schedule requests, employment and income verifications, claim issues, etc. • Instructs employees in registering into the payroll systems for visualization of their paychecks and access to tax forms, etc. • Assists with employee recognitions: hot lunches, departmental recognition weeks, service and recognition awards, community activities, employee parties, monthly anniversary cards. Maintains organized file and procedures for each. Prepares information and posts a creative display for recognition weeks. • Tracks all certifications/licenses to ensure they are kept current and follow up with supervisors/employees.
