ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
Perform reference checks as need
Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements

Using standardized screening techniques, Assess the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Attend in-service training sessions, meetings, and out of town activities as required
Promote a positive work environment by treating staff and visitors with courtesy and respect
Maintain the restrooms of the rest areas in a clean and sanitary condition, adding supplies as necessary and cleaning each area as needed during shift
Maintain the foyer and reception area in a clean and sanitary state.
Keep the storage area clean, neat, and secure
Report any necessary repairs
Sweep or hose down the parking lot areas, sidewalks, and walkways at least once each shift. Maintain walkways as required to keep them free of snow and ice
Maintain grounds by raking leaves and mowing grass. Shrubbery care is to be maintained including careful weeding of beds and flower beds, watering plants and shrubs, and mulching including raking and maintenance of mulched areas
Collect trash for receptacles and take to the garbage bin as necessary
Clean windows, countertops, and light fixtures
Clean floors, doors, and water fountains at least once each shift
Clean door mats daily
Remove all trash, paper, and other debris from grounds and parking lot up to the edge of the paved shoulders which includes the shoulders of the interstate, the exit, and entrance ramps at least daily
Curbs and walkways are to be edged at least one time per week during the growing season
Replace light bulbs when necessary
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
Have a current valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Site Supervisor, responsible for the supervision of all site personnel and assistance with daily cleaning and maintenance of rest area facilities and grounds.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervises, manages, and directs Rest Area Attendants, Lead Attendants, and sub-contractors under the general guidance of Site Supervisor / Area Manager primarily when the Site Supervisors is not on site, unavailable or as directed.
• Assists in the training of Site Staff.
• Acts as Supervisor in the absences of the Site Supervisor or as directed by management. Is schedule as Site Supervisor on off shifts or weekends.
• Assit with creating and maintain employee work schedules
• Is secondary emergency site contact for VDOT and USF Management
• As Assistant Site Supervisor:
o Actively looks to improve their site and works with their staff to coach them into performing at their best.
o Performs the essential duties and responsibilities of Attendant or Supervisor while performing each role.
o Proactively seeks assistance from Site Supervisor when needed.
o Performs regular inspections of rest rooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment and safety.
o Cleans and maintains rest room buildings (interior and exterior) and all areas of the grounds to include picnic areas, parking lots, pet rest areas, etc.
o Cleaning includes but is not limited to activities such as wiping, moping, sweeping, sanitizing, vacuuming, dusting, litter removal, and trash clean up.
o Performs minor maintenance of facilities such as changing light bulbs or filters, etc.
o Identifies areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement and works to correct any issues.
o Greets customers and assists them with any questions or concerns.
o Informs Site Supervisor of any hazardous environments and assists in correcting any issues.
o Creates a teamwork environment where mutual collaboration and idea sharing and problem solving from every level is encouraged.
o Ensures a safe working environment is established and maintained.
o Creates, opens and updates work orders with (Insight) as needed.
o Complete all required documentation and administrative tasks as needed on daily basis i.e., minor repair logs, PM logs and etc.
o Understands and is able to navigate basic computer programs such as Word, Excel, and Adobe.
