**Responsibilities**
The selected candidate will help characterize energy efficiency and demand response impacts on a per building basis, coordinate meetings with a wide variety of clean-energy stakeholders, draft research findings, develop innovative approaches to solving clean energy challenges, conduct secondary research about emerging energy technologies, or present your work to external or internal parties. As a planning and assessment research consultant, the selected candidate will:
+ Conduct research and analysis related to demand-side potential assessments and integrated resource planning across a range of technologies including energy efficiency, building electrification, demand response, EVs, solar, battery storage, combined heat and power, and other emerging technologies
+ Provide input to inform data analytics and modeling
+ Build or run models and analysis to assess demand side management potentials and integrated resource planning
+ Synthesize research findings and analysis outcomes to derive insights relevant to client objectives
+ Develop detailed reports and presentations, clearly articulating findings, methodologies, and data sources, and actionable recommendations
+ Lead consulting project tasks including:
+ Budget tracking, task planning, and team collaboration
+ Communicating clearly and professionally with project managers, other team members, and clients to accomplish project goals and with support teams, including accounting, accounts payable, contracts, and operations regarding the health and status of tasks
+ Taking accountability for task quality, completion, budget, etc., including ensuring all deliverables meet Cadmus standards and exceed client expectations
+ Support business development activities, including proposals
+ Nurture and build existing client relationships as a task lead
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study such as mechanical or environmental engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science
+ At least 5 years of experience managing or leading research or planning projects that include both qualitative and quantitative techniques
+ An understanding of the technical and analytical processes required to estimate demand side management potential
+ Direct experience working on or supporting utility demand-side management potential studies, energy efficiency program planning, and/or resource planning
+ Demonstrated ability and experience managing multiple tasks
+ Demonstrated understanding of concepts related to energy efficiency, demand response, solar, battery storage, electrification, and/or distributed energy resource potential studies
+ Experience in data analysis and interpretation
+ Experience with task planning and budget tracking
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complicated issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

The Bismarck Larks joined the Northwoods League (NWL) in 2017. The NWL is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 25 teams, drawing more fans than any league of its kind. Responsibilities
* Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills such as scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and delivering product.
* Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
* Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
* Regulate and periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
* Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks, etc.
* Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
* Work in and keep an environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
* Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Bismarck Larks internships provide students with immersive, hands-on-learning to help position them for a career in the sports, entertainment and event industry upon graduation.
Who We Are
The Bismarck Larks joined the Northwoods League (NWL) in 2017. The NWL is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 25 teams, drawing more fans than any league of its kind. The NWL provides top college players from North America and beyond a summer collegiate baseball experience. More than 350 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball in the NWL's 31-year history.
The Bismarck Larks became the first team in NWL history to win NWL Organization of the Year in back-to-back seasons (2017 & 2018). The Larks sold out 27 of 36 home games in 2017 (75%) and continued their success in 2018 selling out 30 of 36 home games with an average overall attendance of more than 68,000 fans.
In 2020, the Larks became the first sports team in the country to play safely with fans in the stands during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the Larks sold out 92% of every ticket and were named one of the top 30 employers in sports by Front Office Sports in the company of the Denver Broncos and Savannah Bananas.
In 2023, the Larks were viral for rebranding to the Missouri River Motorboaters, hosted the NWL All-Star Game aired on ESPNU, aired two games on NBC - North Dakota, debuted the NWL's biggest videoboard, and hosted fans from 33 different states.

The PositionThe Bismarck Larks are looking for a play-by-play broadcaster to join their team in Bismarck, North Dakota for the 2026 season. As the play-by-play broadcaster, you will be responsible for providing play-by-play commentary during all 36 Bismarck Larks home games on the Northwoods League TV Network, ESPN+ and larksbaseball.com.
The play-by-play broadcaster will lead 5-15 live games featured on ESPN+ and (at least) one live game on NBC/Fox to be viewed statewide.
Start Date: May 4th, 2026
End Date: August 15th, 2026
Academic Qualifications: Applicants should have studied relevant fields including but not limited Sport Management, Broadcasting, or Journalism.
Roles and Responsibilities
Broadcast all 36 home games on the Northwoods League TV Network or ESPN+, including pre and post-game shows during the regular season (and playoffs if necessary).
Assist in the creation of each Lead-In Show with the help of the Technical PC Director
Responsible for any pre-game assignments including game/player research, statistics, and interviews.
Responsible for updating the official scoring roster, including taking headshots of new players and uploading to the team website/dropbox.
Responsible for updating in-stadium elements such as the official standing and line up board.
Responsible for calling all the action of each game, describing in detail the action of a highly competitive, summer collegiate baseball championship season.
Responsible for post-game duties include but not limited to: live interviews, and a wrap-up of both nightly team and Northwoods League results.
Assist with writing promotional pieces for digital platforms and team game-day programs.
Assist with production of in-house video projects.
Maintain proper care of broadcast equipment.
Represent the team at various Larks and Funatix Events and participate in other outside, community events and mascot appearances, as defined by the team.
Promote a positive fan experience by interacting with our fans in all areas of the ballpark.
General Team Responsibilities
Game and Team Event Availability: Expected to be available for all Bismarck Larks home games and team events, this includes weekends and holidays.
Funatix Event Availability: Expected to be available for all Funatix Events including but not limited to the Mandan Rodeo Days, company picnics, festivals, etc. A full event list will be provided. This includes weekends and holidays.
Game Day and Event Hours: Expected to be available from mid to late morning through the end of the game and/or event. The schedule will be decided by the direct supervisor on a homestand and event basis.
Non-Game Day/Event Hours: Expected to attend office hours of 9 AM-5 PM each weekday.
Assist with distribution of team pocket schedules, posters and other marketing materials throughout the stadium and community.
Assist with ballpark set-up and tear-down before-the-season, after-the-season and during each homestand.
Assist with event set-up and tear-down at team events and Funatix Events.
Assist with Family Fun zone set-up and tear-down.
Maintain ballpark cleanliness including but not limited to: cleaning tables, chairs, Family Fun Zone area, etc.
Every intern will be required to perform as the mascot at least once during the summer.
All other duties as assigned by Larks front office staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Play-by-play experience required
Previous internship or job in live sports broadcasting preferred
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom) preferred

Stipend & Housing:
While this is an unpaid internship, the Larks offer a stipend to assist with living expenses, including housing, transportation, and meals. The organization provides two housing options designed to accommodate both local interns and those relocating to Bismarck for the duration of the internship.
Option 1- Stipend-$1000/Month Housing-Not Provided. Intern is responsible for providing their own housing.
Option 2-Stipend-$500/Month Housing: Housing is provided by the organization. If a security deposit or utility expenses are required, they will be the responsibility of the intern.
Credit: College credit towards a major, minor or general elective may be earned.
