    Working Title: Internship Salary: To Be Determined by the Agency Human Resource Management Internship State of Florida Opportunities are located throughout Florida Internship Overview and Responsibilities: The State of Florida is seeking motivated individuals to join our workforce. Our internship opportunities offer bright, highly motivated college students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the operations of state government while obtaining valuable on-the-job training. As an HR intern, your responsiblities may include the following: * Contributing to recruitment efforts. * Supporting HR administration functions, including special projects as assigned to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the agency. * Collaborate cross-functionally with the HR team to understand and identify areas of process improvement (i.e., onboarding, streamlining processes, etc.). * Research, compiling, and analyzing HR-related queries and data. * Maintaining personnel files ensuring compliance with record retention requirements. Applications are accepted year-round. Internships may be paid or unpaid and there is no guarantee of employment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. * General knowledge of various employment laws and practices. * Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of HR work. * Ability to work independently as well as with others. * Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively. * Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access...) Minimum Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled or graduated within the last twelve months from an accredited college or university degree program. No experience required for this position.
