1. Conducts field inspections and documentation to determine if diseases, insects, or other natural or unnatural occurrences have affected trees in the village's urban forest. These inspections will include site meetings with property managers and owners.
2. Monitors contractors performing tree maintenance activities in the village's parkways and other properties.
3. Assists the Forester in implementing and documenting the village's EAB Management Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate's degree or equivalency of college hours in the process of obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in forestry or a related field. Prerequisite educational coursework includes undergraduate-level forestry, horticulture, or a related field.
2. Demonstrate a working knowledge of trees and insects and diseases that affect tree health and care. Extensive knowledge of tree identification, diseases, insects, and maintenance techniques used in managing an urban forest.
3. Possession of a valid driver's license.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job Description
Overview:
The Outsourcing Procurement Intern position is a supportive role to the Outsourcing tower and is
an opportunity for the right candidate to build skills in Project Management, Data Analysis,
Sustainable Procurement, Company Initiative Execution, and Procurement Processes.
Responsibilities:
Research SAP systems to review spend data for outsourcing
Develop spend data reports and conduct online surveys to complete supplier business review presentations
Create pivot tables in Excel (Google Sheets) to analyze supplier and plant spend data
Work directly with suppliers and plants regarding historical spend to identify cost savings
Work with Category Manager and RRD legal team to load agreements for review
Work with Procurement Director to focus on organization initiatives, with tasks spanning from logistical planning to strategy sessions
Complete Responsible Sourcing data analyses and run a campaign in our CSR Rating system
This is an opportunity to work full-time during the summer before Senior Year of college.

Additional Information
The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $20.00 - $25.00 / hour. Starting pay decisions

Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Interns will work alongside seasoned professionals to develop practical skills in surveillance, incident response, and theft prevention while gaining insight into the operational aspects of a large-scale facility.
Responsibilities:
Consistent attendance and adherence to the posted schedule is a job requirement. Includes attendance of Park Discovery training, Security department training, and Security in-service training.
Must meet all HumanResources requirements for internship program, including attendance of intern events/meetings.
Maintain Park grooming and appearance standards in accordance with policies set forth by the HumanResources department. Maintain department uniform guidelines in accordance with policies set forth by the Security department.
Interact with guests, team members, and Park management on a daily basis. Work with a diverse team and cooperate with all team members and Park management.

Validate team member entry by checking Park issued ID cards and vehicle stickers.
Validate visitor entry by following established clearance procedures and coordinating visitor appointments with Park management.
Work patrol positions designed to respond to security-related incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance:
Assist guests with problem-solving and Park policy interpretation.
Monitor and enforce adherence to Park policies, specifically related to guest code of conduct and ride safety.
Rapidly respond to emergencies or calls for assistance according to department policy and/or at the direction of department management.
Work toll and mobile positions designed to monitor the guest parking lot and toll lanes:

Monitor surveillance systems.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $105,000 - $130,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron\'s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron\'s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $117,600 - $153,400. This rotation continues throughout the duration of the program.
