What you'll do:


Interview and hire field hourly employees. Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to facilitate open houses. Coordinate with Talent Acquisition team on disposition of candidates in ATS system. Ensure the timely completion of pre-employment checks of new hires and partner with location managers to address outstanding actions. Coordinate and provide support to locations on new hire on-boarding - including touch bases with new hires, ensure completion of I9s and tracking Learning completion. Provide analysis on talent acquisition progress by job/location. Identify sourcing and recruiting strategies by location and develop tool for tracking and reporting. Run various reports, provide analysis, if applicable, and disseminate to locations and Area Leadership. Oversee payment of retention and referral bonuses Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work 24 hours a week Active enrollment at college/university pursuing a degree in Human Resources, or a similar field Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred

Delta's HR Team is looking for interns to join our high performing team. The intern - Human Resources will work in various division, such as TechOps, Flight Operations, Airport Customer Service and Cargo to develop and manage processes and strategies to support the division's goal that offers a fast-paced, real world, hands on experience by doing the following: - Design, develop, and optimize reporting and analytics in support of the HR Team. - Assist in determining staffing requirements based on demand inputs - Investigate ways to better deploy resources and change processes Additional responsibiliti es include participation in data collection efforts for projects that impact cross-function al departments and identifying and implementing improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance. Assisting in special HR related projects as required supporting corporate and divisional initiatives. Practicing safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

+ Pursuing a Master's degree in human resources or industrial/labor relations -Work experience and/or previous HR internship experience preferred.

+ + Applicants must have a planned graduation date of December 2023, or Spring 2024.

+ Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
