    Human Resources Compliance Analyst The Human Resources Compliance Analyst - Immigration & Employment Compliance is responsible for managing and supporting employment-based immigration programs and broader HR compliance initiatives across the enterprise. This role will serve as the primary internal liaison between Human Resources, business leaders, and outside immigration counsel to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant USCIS filings. In addition, the position supports HR compliance audits, policy reviews, and training initiatives related to labor, employment, and immigration regulations. The position is based in the company's offices in Tampa, FL. It is not a remote position. What Will You Do? Immigration & USCIS Compliance Manage day-to-day employment-based immigration processes, including but not limited to H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, O-1, PERM labor certifications, I-140 and I-485 filings. Coordinate closely with outside immigration counsel to prepare, review, submit, and track USCIS petitions and applications. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and foreign national employees regarding immigration case status, timelines, and documentation. Monitor visa expiration dates, work authorization validity, and compliance milestones to ensure uninterrupted employment authorization. Support I-9 compliance, audits, and remediation efforts in partnership with HR, Legal, and external counsel. HR & Employment Compliance Conduct internal audits and reviews of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Identify potential compliance risks related to labor, employment, and immigration laws and recommend corrective or preventive actions. Assist in maintaining and communicating compliance-related training programs, including annual Core Values Compliance Training. Support HR Transformation initiatives by improving compliance-related processes, documentation, and controls. Stay current on changes to employment and immigration laws and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Legal, and Global Mobility teams to ensure consistent and compliant employment practices. * Support special projects related to workforce compliance, audits, and regulatory inquiries. What Do You Need?     Human resources internship job in Tampa, FL

    Performs responsible work planning, coordinating, and supervising recreational activities at park, after school programs, or overseeing safety and compliance requirements/concerns. Interprets recreation programs and policies to the public and enforces departmental policies. Prepares the recreational facility for activities, including assisting with delivery, setup and removal of equipment and materials needed for special events sponsored by County. Duties and Responsibilities Note: The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. Depending on assigned area of responsibility, incumbents in the position may perform one or more of the activities described below. Performs safety inspection, compliance monitoring, planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, and evaluation of specific recreation program; trains and supervises volunteer staff. Monitor the maintenance of equipment, supplies, and facilities; opens and closes facilities, as necessary. Assists with cleaning and maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment. Lead various activities; assist in preparing program evaluations and planning activities, prepare reports and work orders; serve as a source of information for the public about related recreation programs, including safety related policies and procedures. Assist with delivery, setup and removal of equipment and materials needed for special events sponsored by County at any location. Assist with programming and planning of adaptive recreational programs for special needs participants at a designated site. Assist clients of varied ages with personal care needs. Attend staff meetings, as assigned; provide face-to-face leadership for specific program areas; maintain records and files; promote teambuilding; utilize computer software programs competently. Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner; and perform related duties and responsibilities, as required. Administers CPR and First Aid as needed. Job Specifications Knowledge of general office policies, practices and procedures. Knowledge of principles and practices of planning and conducting recreational programs. Knowledge of proper English usage, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and grammar; and occupational hazards and safety precautions required in the recreation field. Ability to answer questions and resolve problem situations or refer to appropriate office. Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to participate effectively in the formulation of departmental policies and procedures. Ability to work effectively with others. Ability to plan, organize and oversee the work of others. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task. Ability to use a computer and related software. Skill in the use of various office equipment. Skill in operating vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Physical Requirements This position is frequently very active and often requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Category Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Minimum Qualifications Required Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate; AND One year of experience in organized recreational programs and/or recreational safety inspection and special events or directly related to the position duties; OR An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above; AND Must obtain First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification with Practical Application within 6 months of employment; AND May be required to possess and maintain a valid Driver's License; AND Appointing authority may require a CDL B obtained within the probationary period. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILDCARE PERSONNEL POSITIONS. *NOTE: THIS REQUIREMENT EXCLUDES TEMPORARY SUMMER CAMP POSITIONS. Employees must also complete a minimum of 10 hours of Continuing Education Unit (CEU) of in-service training during the state's fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30 Emergency Management Responsibilities In the event of an emergency or disaster, an employee may be required to respond promptly to duties and responsibilities as assigned by the employee's department, the County's Office of Emergency Management, or County Administration. Such assignments may be for before, during or after the emergency/disaster. Additional Job Requirements A department, depending on the nature of its mission and operations, may require that employees in all or certain positions in this job classification: Maintain the ability to pass the background checks required for the position. These background checks may include but are not limited to: Criminal History Background Check using Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Level 1 and Level 2 Background screening (Ch. 435 Florida Statutes) Child Abuse, Abandonment and Neglect Record Check using the State Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) Sex Offender and Sexual Predator record check using the list maintained by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Possess the necessary job-related license(s) or certification(s) that may include possession of a Florida Driver License (Class E) or an applicable Commercial Driver License (CDL)
