Essential knowledge and specialized subject knowledge required to perform the essential functions of the job: Considerable knowledge of the District and School Board policies, procedures and standards. Considerable knowledge of the organization and communication channels of the school system. Considerable knowledge of the ethical guidelines applicable to the position as outlined by professional organizations and/or federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Considerable knowledge of the current literature, trends, methods and developments in the area of student services. DRIVING REQUIREMENTS: This position may require access to reliable transportation for occasional travel between retail store locations, offices, worksites, or other locations as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS: Position is fast-paced and subject to rapidly changing priorities, multiple deadlines and some stressful customer interactions. Travel to Alaska, pursuant to business needs, is required. Work is primarily sedentary, requiring daily routine computer usage.
