What you'll do as a Human Resources Manager:
Ensure compliance with all company and government regulatory standards in all areas of human resource governance.

Position is 5 days a week onsite at various locations.
What You Need
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience combination. Position requires the ability to understand all aspects of the business and ability to influence all levels of management.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a HR Professional role with specific experience in employee relations, investigations, performance improvement plans, ADA, and FMLA.
Exceptional people skills are required to relate and influence at all company levels. Ability to work with subsidiaries that may have varying policies and procedures.
SHRM certification is preferred, but not required.

What you will be doing:
Foster strong, positive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
Accurately process weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding efforts for hourly manufacturing and distribution roles; support recruitment for additional positions as needed.
Provide comprehensive administrative support for health and benefit programs, including enrollments, terminations, changes, and disability claims.
Maintain accurate HRIS records for new hires, terminations, job changes, promotions, and pay adjustments.
Organize and manage personnel files to ensure they are accurate, complete, and compliant with all applicable regulations and company policies.
Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics using HRIS and other reporting tools.
Administer leave of absence programs - including FMLA and short-term disability - in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Stay up to date on HR best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends in talent management and employee relations.
Enjoyment of wearing many hats is necessary.
What you need:
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production setting
Hands-on experience with payroll processing
Experience administering leaves of absence, including FMLA
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with related software systems
Comfortable with HRIS platforms, preferably Paylocity, or ability to learn quickly
Solid understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and compliance requirements
Exhibit strong leadership presence and the confidence to make decisions and influence outcomes
Foster cooperation and mutual respect, even in high-stress or emotionally charged situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences and stakeholders
