What You'll do
The Purpose of the HumanResources Lead is to assist with various humanresources functions and to provide support to both management and associates at their location. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a positive and productive work environment while upholding company policies and legal compliance. Support performance management processes, aiding with goal setting, performance evaluations, and associate development plans.
Serve as a point of contact for associates, addressing inquiries promptly and providing guidance.
Assist your HR Business Partner to resolve associate conflicts and disciplinary issues, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
Partner with the Store Support Center HumanResources and the Store Manager with policy, procedure, and initiatives.
Maintain associate communication by removing outdated communications and posting current information on RK programs, benefits, schedules, location performance, wellness, safety compliance, and other pertinent information.
Oversee the location's safety program including maintaining the accident/incident files, communicating daily safety topics, completing the safety audits, and completing accident reviews.
Maintain a strong code of ethics and high degree of confidentiality of information about all company, associate, community, legal, and all other matters.
Regularly communicate, both written and verbally, with partners from Store Support Center in a professional manner.
Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, and computer.
May be required to work evenings and weekends.
Oversee monthly cash reporting as needed.
Maintain office and breakroom supplies.
Maintain breakroom and training space standards.
Participate in cross-training for flexibility in various departments and responsibilities.
Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualities for Success
At least 2 years of humanresources experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Primary Responsibilities
We are seeking a strong HR Manager who can take ownership, is a problem solver, and leverages continuous improvement methodologies. This role will lead a variety of HR strategic initiatives. This role will be a strategic partner with DC leadership for ongoing employee engagement activities and will facilitate conversations with employees to create and/or enhance employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, this role will collaborate with management on HR practices, policies and procedures, communicate updates to policies and procedures to DC employees.
Additional responsibilities include partnering with Shared Services to communicate open enrollment and benefits, leaves of absences, workers compensation and safety, and learning and development.
This role will also lead employee disciplinary investigations in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions
* Manages all humanresources materials, including personnel files, new hire forms, I-9s, W-4s, 401k plan, manuals, and other personnel documents to ensure that files are current, confidential, complete, and in compliance with company and government regulations and deadlines.
* Disseminates humanresources policies, procedures, and programs to ensure that all employees are well informed and work in compliance with policies and regulations.
* Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
* Administers the benefit program such as life, health, dental, vision and disability insurance, 401(k) vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance. Reconciles monthly insurance billing.
* Manages employee Leave of Absence program and monitors those employees with either beginning or ending LOA's and/or monitor progress during their LOA.

* Leverages talent acquisition support to source, screen, and interview candidates for open positions.

* Responsible for all data entry into the HRIS system.
* Maintains working relationship with Union officials and adheres to terms of labor contract by monitoring day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions.

Reporting: Prepare local plant, corporate, and legally required reports to communicate information to the necessary individuals or entities.

About the role
The HumanResources Generalist provides day-to-day HR support for associates and leadership within the distribution center. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance, and supporting initiatives that foster a positive and productive work environment. The HR Generalist acts as a key resource for associate relations, new hire orientation, compliance-related activities, performance management, and engagement initiatives.

Serve as liaison for Worker's Compensation cases.
Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires.
Assist with associate recognition program.
Support leadership development for supervisors.
Coach and develop Group Leads to strengthen the internal pipeline for supervisor roles.
Assist associates with payroll, timekeeping and benefits-related inquiries.
Collaborate with corporate HR and payroll teams to resolve issues.
You'll bring to the role
Education:
Bachelor's degree inHumanResources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Certifications:
SHRM-CP (Society for HumanResourceManagement - Certified Professional)
PHR (Professional inHumanResources)
Experience:
Typically, 2-5 years of HR experience
Experience and/or exposure to multiple HR functions such as:
Associate relations

What You'll Do
As an HR Coordinator, you will be providing administrative and project assistance to the HumanResources team. This person will provide professional and confidential support for a variety of administrative duties and projects, while creating positive relationships within the organization. In additiona, this position also manages travel company-wide.
Actively participate with the team on companywide and/or cross-functional projects and initiatives to align with company objectives.
Provide execution support on projects.
Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
Take minutes during meetings and follow up on deliverables.
Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
Format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails, presentations, and reports.
Handle confidential information in a professional manner, process confidential reports and documents.
Manage and distribute correspondence as needed.
Manage travel arrangements for associates and applicants, including air, hotel, and car.
Research and compare travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
Negotiate direct bill rates and establish relationships with hotels to ensure the best rate possible.
Facilitate the relocation of associates by assisting with finding and booking relocation services, arranging payment for services, and facilitating reimbursement of moving expenses.
Monitor and facilitate the use of company travel credit cards and other applicable award and discount programs.
Process payment for travel, background check, and drug test invoices.
Track and report on expenses.
Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.
