About the Role

Key Accountabilities

Active involvement in HR professional organizations (e.g., SHRM, IFEBP, World at Work).
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance.
Excellent conflict resolution, organizational, planning, and presentation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements HR strategies that are aligned with business needs through influence and change management. Develops and maintains strong business relationships with client groups to drive business results; serves as a key member of business unit leadership teams.
Guides and assists employees in the interpretation and administration of various HR policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
Provides performance consulting to client organizations including, but not limited to training, needs assessments, organizational development and meeting facilitation. Collaborates with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to develop strategies to respond to changing needs.
Responsible for conducting investigations for the preparation and presentation of facts leading to the resolution of employee disputes and grievances related to various issues. Where applicable, participates in negotiations with employee unions and provides assistance in the interpretation and administration of labor contracts to include arbitration.
Promotes and fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace to support a high performing culture.
Partners with assigned client groups in the interpretation and administration of various humanresources policies and programs, as assigned, involving employment, compensation, benefits, employee/and or labor relations issues, and other matters.
Researches, documents and presents special projects as assigned. Assimilates information and recommends company action based on findings and available funding.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required. Degree in HumanResources, Labor & Industrial Relations, or related field highly preferred. Masters in HR strongly preferred.
Four (4) or more years of related HR Business Partner experience required.
Experience in a role supporting senior leadership is required.
Proficient working in a large HRIS is preferred. (ex. Workday)
