The Human Resources (HR) Technician, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, is expected to manage and maintain the assigned HR systems and processes, provide data analysis and reporting to the Operations team, and coordinate with external partners, as needed, to deliver internal support and issue resolution. This role will also be responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding new employees, and organizing, auditing, and managing all HR records, which may include both paper and digital files. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience.)

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience : Two years’ administrative work in an office environment. Experience in Human Resources preferred.

Skills: Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must possess good interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to write and communicate with grammatical and spelling accuracy. Must be proficient at basic math and produce simple spreadsheets. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties is a must. Must be professional at all times.

Licensure/Certification : Valid driver’s license.

Other: TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, criminal background check and satisfactory driving record.

THE POSITION

Although there is a salary range for this position, the candidate hired into this position will be hired at the bottom of the salary range.

This recruitment will be used to establish an open competitive and promotional eligibility list that may be used to fill this vacancy and vacancies occurring in this classification for a minimum period of six (6) months.
