Job Summary and Qualifications

As Vice President of Human Resources you will provide strategic human resources and talent guidance to the executive team at an HCA facility. You will create the desired workplace culture which includes an engaged and productive workforce through HCA's policies, programs, and practices.

Strategy:

* Provides feedback and development opportunities for the Regional HR Business Partners.
* Works with Chief Stores Officer to design organizational structures, roles & responsibilities, and HR processes that allow the Company to leverage our size and scale and be more efficient and effective as we increase store count

Talent Retention:

* Leads engagement strategy & initiatives in partnership with Chief Stores Officer and the RHRBPs, addressing identified opportunities
* Assists the compensation and benefits team to develop progressive and pro-active programs that assist in attracting and retaining top talent
* Designs and develops Employee Relations policies and procedures for the stores; analyzes adverse trends, and develops and implements programs/actions to ensure a healthy work environment

+ Lead Regional HR directors, managers and associates. Oversee and lead the HR team in best in class delivery of a broad range of HR services, including: organizational development, talent management, compensation, engagement, and staffing and employee relations.

+ Drive Organizational Readiness and organizational capacity, capability, and engagement initiatives.

+ Remedy escalated field operations issues in the areas of employee relations, corrective action, labor relations, employment law, compensation, and benefits

+ Lead the business in people processes such as performance management, talent reviews, salary planning and succession planning.

+ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to ensure readiness for growth and succession planning.

+ Develop solutions to people and service needs using data, metrics and regional reviews.

+ Provide insight to HR leadership to implement strategic HR and operating plans.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.

+ Minimum of 5 years managing and leading a team of HR professionals.

+ Minimum of 10 years generalist/specialist experience in Human Resources with increasing levels of responsibility.

+ Experience in staffing, organizational change, development & training, employee/labor relations, compensation, and benefits.

+ Ability to lead change and model new behaviors to drive business outcomes.

+ Ability to synthesize information and recommendations into presentations.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
