Working at Humboldt Moving & Storage

Well it's a paying job until you get a new one.

The negative aspects about working there are too many to list but I will do my best. They don't train their guys anymore so when you work with them they hurt you or the customers item. They have only one seasoned employee left. They lack loyalty to these seasoned workers. Workman's comp isn't something that we are given the opportunity to file because humble moving on storage will take care of the bill at the time however, that doesn't help if that injury turns out to be a problem down the road. In fact, we don't even have incident report. S very discouraged. The price gouging over charged our customers sometimes by almost a third of their price. The hourly pay is barely above minimum wage for a labor industry that breaks down your body in a company that discourages workman comp. This company has become under new management and since nut has happened, the company has gone severely down both inequality as well as their ethical standards.

I do not like the CEO. I find the way he does business to be wrong and unethical and shows a lack of morals and moral character. He only looks out for the people on top. In fact, there's only about six movers that work there, which is a far cry from what they claim on this site

Quit overbidding your jobs on purpose to get your commission at the expense of the customer. Just because they sold their house doesn't mean they want to spend extra money on the move. I know the statement has always been made that they just sold their house so they can afford it. That doesn't mean they should. That doesn't mean overcharge. That's disgusting and another cool and lacks morals.

If you apply you pretty much have the job. Nobody wants to work there
