Key Responsibilities:

Sets up new meter stations in measurement calculation system to insure volumes are calculated in accordance to contractual and industry guidelines.
Determines the appropriate placement of new and existing meters in physical flow balances.
Reviews meter calibrations with-in Test-it and applies volume correction per contract for current month measurement data and issue PPA's when warranted.
Reviews on-line gas chromatograph data for accuracy and completeness. Notifies field personnel of unit failure or tolerance exceptions.
Reviews Ultrasonic Meter (USM) data for accuracy and completeness. Review s USM log files and compares to history to identify possible performance degradation.
Manages liquid meter data, volumetric, ticketing, meter factors, etc. within FC. Files documents.
Develops a working knowledge and understanding of gas measurement. Resolves measurement and quality exceptions in the exception resolver. Manages monthly balance closing.
Develops and provides training to measurement analysts and other company personnel as needed. Acts as first point of contact for measurement analysts before escalating questions to measurement manager.

Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; advanced degree in business, management or engineering preferred.

Overview
In this role, the Field Operations Technician will be responsible for commissioning, service, maintenance, and testing of the Verax analytical equipment in downstream, midstream, and upstream field locations. In this role, the Field Operations Technician will be expected to apply knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluid transport principles to support sales, operations, and engineering in every aspect of the company. Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Field Operations Foreman, the Field Operations Technician will have direct responsibility for the following:
Safely commission analyzers and ancillary components in the field
Capture liquid and gas hydrocarbon samples in the field to improve Verax analyzer accuracy
Perform pre-installation site surveys to determine where to locate analyzer and measurement points
Maintain and service systems in field installations to ensure accurate data is generated
Work closely with customer service managers to ensure all necessary electrical and controls equipment systems are in place and functioning properly
Maintain, modify, and troubleshoot embedded PCs, software, and communication devices
Ensure site connectivity to remote and cloud data centers via telecommunication networks

This position will perform installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repairs, and system development for all systems including motor controls, distributive controls, PLC's, communications systems such as satellite, cellular, RF systems, SCADA operations maintenance and any other technical issues that may arise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides I & E (instrumentation and electrical) support for assigned assets such as natural gas processing plants, pipelines, compressor stations.
* Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and calibrates wide variety of midstream instrumentation such as, but not limited to, flow meters, transmitters, sensors, analyzers, data loggers, programmable logic controller (PLCs), distributive control system (DCS).
* Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, motor control centers, generators, transformers, switches, relays, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems, variable frequency drive (VFD), power distribution center (PDCs), uninterrupted power source (UPS).
* Configures and programs industrial control systems. Performs loops checks, point-to-point verification, and other testing regimes.
* Maintains complete, accurate and regulatory-compliant documentation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Valid driver's license required
* Must be able to pass drug test and background check
* Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
SKILLS:
* Calibration: Develops ability to perform calibration on instruments with accuracy and precision in accordance with established procedures. Aware of environmental factors such as temperature, vibration, noise affecting calibration.
* Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS): Develops experience with software package with multiple maintenance functionalities such as equipment data management, preventative maintenance, work order system, scheduling planning, inventory control, asset tracking.
* Electrical Equipment & Electrical Distribution Network: Develops knowledge and practice experience with electrical components and workings of electric transmission and distribution network.
* Industrial Control Systems: Develops knowledge or and practical experience with devices to manage, command, direct or regulate behavior of other devices or systems. Includes, but not limited to, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
* Industrial Instrumentation Fundamentals: Develops practical knowledge of instrumentation used in midstream industry to measure, monitor, or control temperature, level, pressure, flow. Includes, but is not limited to temperature sensor, pressure gauges, pressure transmitter, pressure switch, flow transmitter, temperature controllers.
* Safety: Applies in difficult or complex situations ability to recognize safety risks in operational activities and use appropriate measures to control and manage identified risks.
* Safety Awareness: Ability to recognize and identify potential hazards. Evaluates changes in work environment with respect to impact on safety of self and others. Understands potential threats created by deviation from safety procedures and improper use of tools and equipment. Uses personal protection equipment. Uses tools and equipment in compliance with manuals and training. Calls attention to potential and actual hazardous conditions as they arise. Demonstrates knowledge of lockout/tag out procedures. Stops work if there are unsafe working conditions.
* Wireless Technologies: Develops knowledge of and practical experience with technologies and devices used in industrial applications to communicate information gathered from sensor locations through wireless links.

Position Purpose:
Responsible for supervising a team(s) of field employees in providing services to clients that result in the safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Coordinates subcontractors and field personnel within the job specifications and regulatory guidelines. Provides guidance and training to all field service employees. Prepares project estimates, proposals, and assists with contract preparation.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
Manages team(s) including hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions.
Complies with all applicable governmental regulations, and VES-TS policies and procedures. 3. Recognize and act on opportunities to increase value added services that benefit customers. 4. Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and/or potential problems.
Comply with and enforce all compliance, health and safety, and procedures in accordance with departmental procedures.
Ensure completion and accuracy of all DOT/EPA and VES-TS regulations required in submitting paperwork.

Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
BS in Chemistry or BA in a related science discipline or equivalent work experience required ● 5 to 7 years of hazardous waste experience required

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Knowledge of disposal capabilities and limitations prior to shipping waste materials to ensure efficient disbursement and storage.
