Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Industrial Electrical Apprentice to join our team in our electrical division for a job located in Delta, Utah.
The Licensed Industrial Electrical Apprentice must complete the number of hours for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship).
Major Duties:
The ability to stand for long periods of time.
The ability to climb ladders several times in a row.
The ability to work with hands above your head with tools.
The ability to lift tools and equipment above your head several times.
The ability to lift up to 100lbs.
The ability to stretch, bend, stand, climb, and move continuously.
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electric Code.
Be a self-starter and be dependable.
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program.
Have an active state apprentice license.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Must be willing to travel and work out of Delta, Utah for the duration of the project.

Control and E-house Journeyman Electrician

Hunt Electric and ICC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill our Control Building and E-House Journeyman position in our manufacturing division to support the growing demand for specialized electrical installations in Control Buildings and Electrical Houses (E-houses).
The Control Buildings & E-Houses Journeyman is responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems within prefabricated control buildings, E-houses, and related modular power systems. This position requires a deep understanding of electrical codes, industrial systems, and the ability to execute work safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Major Duties:
Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications including single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring prints.
Plan and layout of the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.
Plan the project's material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.
Install and terminate conduit, cable trays, and wiring for power and control systems inside Control Buildings and E-houses.
Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
Monitor progress schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
Establish and implement prefab project specific tasks.
Mount, connect, and wire electrical equipment including switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, VFDs, PLC panels, lighting systems, and HVAC controls.
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and company-specific installation standards.
Perform functional testing and assist in factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs).
Leadership capacity to mentor apprentices and ensure safety and quality on the job site.
Efficiency and compliance by applying experience to execute work in line with NEC codes and OSHA standards including safety policies, lockout/tagout, and arc flash protection.
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.
Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Ability to work overtime when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current state licensed journeyman license.
Demonstrates Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, code-compliant installations on time.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Ability to travel offsite for product commissioning.
Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Work at heights
Load and unload tools/equipment from work van
Lifting occasionally up to 75lbs.
Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.
Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
Climb ladder up to roof height.
Extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion.

What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $36,000 - $45,000 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual's tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Physical Requirements:
Technicians install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial, rooftop HVAC units. This work is often done independently. As such, Technicians must be able to safely:
Get themselves and necessary tools/equipment onto the rooftop - typically via fixed/extension ladder.
Work at heights
Load and unload tools/equipment from work van
Lifting occasionally up to 75lbs.
Lifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbs.
Push/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
Climb ladder up to roof height.
Extend reach overhead in a repetitive motion.
Manual tandem lifting load up to 125 lbs
What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $36,000 - $45,000 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual's tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
