The qualified candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, equipment, and services to support our manufacturing operations while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to company policies.
Major Duties:
Obtain competitive quotes, evaluate supplier proposals, and issue purchase orders for materials, supplies, and services.
Ensure that purchased items meet required specifications, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance.
Collaborate with production, scheduling, and inventory teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and prevent material shortages.
Monitor material demand against inventory to place timely orders and support production schedules.
Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP/MRP systems, including purchase orders, supplier data, and price lists.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier consolidation.
Stay informed on market trends, material availability, and price fluctuations affecting procurement.

The Electrical Onsite Parts and Warehouse Coordinator will oversee the coordination of all material and equipment including deliveries and material movement on the jobsite. This position will be responsible for inventory, cycle counts, and electrical teams' needs throughout the project.
Major Duties:
Coordinate the receipt of electrical materials and equipment for timely arrival to and from the site.
Attend daily meetings to coordinate time frames with crane crews on material and equipment movements across the jobsite.
Organize, manage, and maintain spreadsheets for jobsite material inventory.
Coordinate closely with project managers, superintendent, foreman, purchasing, and warehouse regarding needs and deliveries.
Create, manage, and provide the necessary reports regarding material handling to the appropriate level of management.

Industrial Automation Technician

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Technician in our Industrial and Automation division. This position will work closely in the field to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
The Industrial Automation Technician role is for individuals with solid industrial electrical experience who are ready to take on challenging work in automation, motor controls, and power systems. Our team works with three-phase power distribution, motors and motor controls, drives and controllers, relay logic, PLC automation, troubleshooting and repair, and control design and integration.
Major Duties:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain three-phase power distribution systems (permanent and portable).
Work with VFDs, soft starts, HMIs, and PLCs.
Design, install, maintain, and service motor control systems.
Hands-on experience with print reading, controls, motor controls, control design, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of power distribution from 480V three-phase to 120V single-phase.
Proficiency with three-phase and single-phase motors, terminations, splicing, load calculations, ampacity, wire sizing, voltage drop, and overload protection.
Experience using test equipment such as meters, amp probes, power meters, and meggers.
Ability to work at industrial site such as surface mine sites (sand and gravel pits, asphalt plants, concrete plants), oil and gas facilities, manufacturing plants, and other industrial environments.
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.

Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of construction, reviewing and understanding blueprints.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment, and handle differing priority level tasks.
Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience.
Familiarity with Codesys programming environment.
Experience with Ignition SCADA/HMI platforms.
Strong understanding of industrial networking and Ethernet/IP communications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician's license (preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
MSHA certification or prior experience working on MSHA-regulated sites.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a background check, have a clean MVR, and a valid driver's license.

Experienced Audio Visual Technician

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Technician in our audio-visual department and technology division. This position will work closely with our project management and field crews to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the installation of audio-visual systems in both residential and commercial environments, adhering to Hunt's commitment to quality and craftmanship.
Major Duties:
Setting up and configuring Networks,
Experience with automation, integrations, lighting, and shading systems, WANs and LANs computer network systems, surveillance and security systems,
Rack building and equipment configuration, exceptional wire management,
Perform on-site installation including wire test/distribution/termination, location trim outs, speaker and audio system installation, displays systems installation and home theater setup.
Prepare for installs, upgrades, and repairs by reviewing work orders, obtaining necessary supplies and evaluating install location and access points.
Assist with equipment deployment/setup, calibration and system debug
Troubleshoot problems in the field.
Undertake training on integration and control systems as required.
Maintain daily communication with the project team on job progress and status.
Interact with customers and other trades in a professional manner.
Wire termination including soldering, crimping, punch-down etc.

Proficiency with power and hand tools.
Detail-orientated, neat, organized with the ability to complete tasks within the time frame provided.
Experience in low voltage wiring and home theater/surround sound
