He is an Attending Cardiologist at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and was previously Assistant Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Non-Invasive Department at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Sills has been on the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Cardiology as well as a board member of the AHA. He serves as one of the Governors for the Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Sills actively consults for private equity and venture capital firms on potential acquisitions. He has operational experience in managing a $50 million dollar medical practice. Dr. Sills has participated at all levels of investments from multiple angel funds to actively participating at a board level for both venture capital as well as private equity. He holds a board seat at Sante Ventures as well as an advisory role at CIC Partners. Dr. Sills is currently in a Leadership Course at the SMU Cox School of Business as part of the prerequisites for an eMBA.
