As a Full-Time Ride Mechanic, you will be trained and certified to perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and annual rehabilitation of a variety of amusement rides and attractions. Inspections are visual as well as auditory. Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspects, repairs and tests amusement rides and related equipment. This may include repairing or replacement of major components on a wide variety of mechanical devices. Help Trouble shoots a variety of mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems and takes appropriate corrective actions with supervision. Maintains orderly and accurate records of all required inspections and work performed. Communicates the status of assigned rides both verbally and in written format. Reads, understands and applies information from manufacturer's manuals for service, repair and or component replacement. Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. State Ride Inspector Certified within one year. Training provided. 2 to 4 years of mechanical experience. Industrial, auto or amusement setting experience preferred. Working knowledge of basic mechanical principles such as gear ratios, torque, proper use of common hand tools, common mechanical nomenclature, etc. Familiarity with common types of bearings, bushings, couplers, shafting and similar power transmission components. Demonstrable knowledge of the fundamental principles of either pneumatic systems or hydraulic systems; preferably both. Ability to work cooperatively with others in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. Ability to work safely and effectively while elevated on ladders, platforms, or other structures at heights up to 300 feet above ground. Must have a valid PA drivers license.

JOB SCOPE: Provide, supervise and direct the maintenance, cleaning, painting and repair of the physical environment of the building and property, including carpentry, electrical and plumbing across PCMHs facilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sweeps and mops all floors, offices, hallways, lounge, laundry room, community kitchen, and staircases on a daily basis. Dusts furniture and all windowsills in common areas, staff areas and first floor, except for resident apartments. Cleans compactor, prepares and takes out garbage three times weekly. Cleans and keeps compactor and compactor room in clean and working order. Cleans laundry machines and dryers. Cleans glass doors daily, cleans and dust all residence doors when needed. Provides repair/maintenance service to apartments and documents work orders completed in Real Page. Cleans and prepares vacant apartment (s) for occupancy as directed. Sweeps and hoses down sidewalk in front end of building and cleans yards. Checks and replaces all lighting and emergency lighting inside and outside the building. Escorts and oversees all outside maintenance vendors performing work in the building. Shovels/cleans snow from premises and maintains safe entrance to the residence. Perform minor repairs and touch-ups as necessary, i.e., hanging pictures/bulletin boards, painting, light bulb replacement, faucet repair (washers, etc.), stripping floors and re-waxing, and other assignments as directed by supervision. Respond to emergency situations such as water pipe breaks, and report situation to proper personnel. Tend to emergency situation as best as possible until assistance arrives, then assist in repair as necessary Conducts apartment inspections and common area inspections of the facility in accordance with agency policy. Receives, stocks, and maintains an inventory of residence supplies, and distributes provisional supplies to residents as needed. Safeguards and maintains inventory of building tools and supplies. Prepares and submits maintenance supply requisition to Program Director. Meets with Program Director weekly for supervision. Maintains a cordial, professional relationship with residents. Handles confidential information in accordance with Federal and New York State law and regulations. Adhere to personnel and residential policies and procedures as outlined in the PCMH Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual and the Residential Policies and Procedures Manual. Provides maintenance coverage on a one-time or temporary basis to other job locations based upon the needs of the residential division. Performs other duties, consistent with the goals and objectives of the program, as directed by the Program Director. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing as required. Knowledge of routine power tools and cleaning equipment. Working knowledge of NYC Building Codes and City Regulations. Basic computer skills; Internet Search, Microsoft Office CPR/First Aid (must obtain Certification within 6 month of employment and maintain throughout duration of employment.) Specialty equipment and calibrated tooling will be supplied by the company. Technicians are expected to keep company tooling, vehicles and equipment in an organized and clean condition. Equipment requiring attention or repair should be tagged and supervisors notified via email immediately. Licenses and Certifications Required: Valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate Valid Driver's License Valid US Passport Requirements Job Requirements: Experience providing maintenance on the following aircraft; Bombardier Challenger 300/350 Ability to be willing to work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) utilizing fall protection Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time while performing repairs Ability to operate basic hand tools and ground equipment. Ability to work in confined spaces Mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems effectively Be a problem solver by effectively reading and interpreting maintenance, wiring, and illustrated parts manuals Must be able to perform quality repairs effectively on short notice Must be able to input and retrieve information from customers Experience with Apple and Microsoft products especially Outlook, Word, and Excel spreadsheets Able to travel to locations, in all weather conditions, to perform repairs Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
