The Model Management and Optimization (MMO) team within Risk Management's BSA Operations Department is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of products, models, and business intelligence used for BSA/AML and OFAC compliance. In addition to continuously improving Customer Risk Management, Transaction Monitoring, and Name Screening Programs, MMO is also responsible for management information systems and user developed tool functions such as ongoing model performance metrics (effectiveness), customer behavior and transaction channel monitoring, operational forecasting, key performance and risk indicator monitoring, and data integrity control monitoring. MMO serves as the primary conduit for cross functional communication within BSA Operations and assists the Department within strategic planning, tactical execution, and budget/forecasting tasks. Through these responsibilities, MMO works closely with BSA/AML and OFAC Leadership Teams, Information Technology, Model Risk Management, Segment Risk, Internal Audit, product groups, and lines of business stakeholders. AML Product Analyst 2 The AML Product Analyst 2 role proactively engages with key stakeholders, on behalf of AML Product Analyst, to generate business objectives, refine product features, and document user stories to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the underlying operational, modeling, and compliance programs. The AML Product Analyst 2 is a mid-tier career path option to execute against the Department's strategic initiatives, under minimal supervision, to expedite development and increase the overall value of AML Products. The AML Product Analyst 2 will engage with the AML Product Analyst and AML Technology Program Leadership to document, report, and maintain a strategic roadmap of data and system enhancements. Duties and Responsibilities: Within a team environment and under minimal supervision, the colleague will: Serve as a working team member to document business objectives, requirements, features, and/or story cards. Prepare status update materials for key stakeholders, including various levels of operational managers, Product Analysts, and cross functional executives. Champion transformational change within BSA Operations' project methodologies (agile, hybrid, or waterfall) to expedite value for the BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance Programs. Write user acceptance test (UAT) cases and will be a liaison between project leads and testing organization during UAT. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Determine bank's future value risk by assigning future wholesale and/or residual values to equipment with direction from the Technology Finance Product Manager. * Make purchasing/selling decisions that may impact bank profitability with partnership from the product manager team. * In conjunction with the product manager team, research and identify markets, various products, and merchandising opportunities * Work with the Technology Finance Product Manager to set up products and manage products and promotions. * Identify correct equipment specifications to properly arrange and contract for freight shipments on the bank's behalf. * Coordinate freight purchase order processing with clients. * Arrange and monitor freight shipments with clients and sales team. * Work with customers and submit quotes for freight requests with special attention on split freight * Submit freight purchase orders along with the rebilling of freight invoices and damage assessments. * Responsible for maintaining real-time inventory and shipping schedule. * Capture data and organize monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of sales and current sitting inventory per asset category. Provide analysis and recommendations bases off report results * Communicate with customers to resolve open issues. * Work directly with vendors * Provide support to the identification, education and onboarding of our more complex vendors * Negotiate with vendors on cost, volume, incentives, rebates, advertising, and other applicable allowances * Pull vendor invoices and lease documentation from files to confirm proper equipment description * Resolve issues such as missing or incomplete returned assets * Evaluate current processes, identify and implement improved document and recording mediums (Shipping Forms, Inventory Reports). * Update personal knowledge by participating in industry related educational opportunities, with a goal of providing input to aid in the research and identify markets, various products, and merchandising opportunities. * Responsible for training and mentoring more junior Technology Finance Product Analysts. * Various projects and other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Bachelor's degree required. Prefer degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) * 3+ years of experience in any combination of a) pre-owned IT or medical equipment market, b) equipment finance, or c) liquidation of moderate levels of remote inventory. * 5+ years of in person or telephonic interaction with clients in any capacity where they are solving customer issues or negotiating favorable outcomes. * Excellent organizational skills that allow the ability to effectively prioritize workload and multi-task * Excellent attention to detail * Must have excellent oral and written communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel * Self-motivated * Must be persistent and resourceful * Must possess a strong work ethic * Works well with team members WORKING CONDITIONS: * Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like. * Extended time at desk and/or viewing computer screen.
